@Nativesk8er101 it happens to me too ahah it is "warming up the card" also if your card is already more than half full it can cause that error, also you have to have a 10 class SD card

Mine will be here Wednesday! Can't wait! I am wondering what your opinion is on the instructional DVD's that are available through, I think, Blue Crane? They offer 2 videos specific to the 60D, "beginning and advanced", do you have any experience with these, or other instructional videos that may be available? Also, now that you have had your 60D for a while, what can you recommend to new owners? I appreciate any info you can offer, and again, thank you very much.

Viewfinder has pentaprism much brighter then T2i T3i they have pentamirror not as bright. Oh and there battery life sucks 550 shots vs 1600 shots for 60D with full charge. Oh and all 9 AF points are all cross type unlike T2i T3i that only has AF 1 cross type AF point out of the 9 AF points.

The one that's $99 is the 1.8. Good lens, but the 1.4 tends to have MUCH better bokeh / out of focus effect due to the narrower DOF from its wider aperture. Additionally, a fast telephoto will make a beautiful out of focus effect as well. The reason I love the 24-105 is because it's a constant aperture (F4), has a decent zoom reach, and has excellent image stablization and ultrasonic autofocus, so you won't hear the lens motor in your movies. I have a review of it on my channel

NICE camera review. You may notice that the PNY's 2000 shots claim isnt quite applicable for the 60D. If my T2i's memory is correct, it's closer to 1100 or 1200 shots due to the 18MP JPG size. If you shoot raw, it's closer to 350 videos due to the size of each RAW shot. Rest assured, the quality of the pictures is incredible even with a kit lens. Do you have any ideas for future lenses? The 24-105 F4 L IS USM, or some primes, would both be great places to start.

Yeah your probably right with the whole 1100 shots or so... its was just a guess for me lol! I'm a cinematographer so I like the ability to have shallow depth of field effects do I am interested int he 50mm 1.4f prime lens... (I think it was 1.4) anyway its $99. With my lens however its a little hard to get that effect especially if the subject is 5 feet away, but thats part of the deal I guess. Have u SUBBED?? hahaha
