  • Klasse lied, leider mal wieder die deutsche klatsch Psychose

  • are they german people

    why they say zik hi

  • part of the lyrics (someone asked)

    Mexico...

Well we looked down the river till we seed the British come

There must have been a hundred of them beatin' on the drum

They stepped so high and we heard the people sing

well we stood beside our cotton bales and never said a thing

We fired our guns and the British kept a-comin'

There wasn't as many as there was a while ago

We fired once more and they began to runnin'

All down the Mississippi to the Gulf of Mexico.

  • R.I.P:

    Les Humphries

    Jimmy Bilsbury

    Elvira PUPPA Herbert

    Dornee Edwards

    Don Adams

  • j'ai découvert la musique en regardand Derick lol

  • yes

  • does anyone one which year was this ?

  • Yes:1972.

  • the song was recorded in 1972 but this footage is from 1992

    :0)

  • So is the the last ever footage of Les Humphries? He didn't look bad for 52, but it's a shame he stayed out of the limelight for many years. I wonder if he was recognisable in his mid 60s just prior to his untimely death?

  • Does anyone know how to get hold of the text of this version?

  • Geile Truppe die sorgte im Party Keller für Stimmung.....

  • where is les humphries ?

  • at the piano

  • HELLO

  • i like the other version better

  • which?

  • BEST SONG EVER

  • everyone who doesnt like this kill yourself and stop comparing to david hassle the hoff cause he fuckin sux. les humphries wrote great songs and even theyre kinda hippy i dont give a fuck CAUSE THEYRE STILL GREAT SONGS AND STILL BETTER THAN ALOT OF THE SHIT TODAY !!!

  • because...?

  • What i should have said is David hasselhoff singing; because he said so in an interview a few years back when i interviewed him on his number one in Germany "Looking for freedom" and made him listen to the Humphries; David's style of music was very European at the time, by "opposition" to the anglo-saxon types of arrangements, and the country in Europe where he did best with the freedom song was Germany; that's why i said what i said

  • Ah ok :) Well, I guess I can sorta see (or should I say hear) the connection with David's songs and this one stylewise, now that you've mentioned it, despite them being from different decades.

  • hello zombies

  • A song that never gets old!

  • R.I.P Les Humpries, Jürgen Drews was one of the members of the Les Humpries singers

  • This is a better rendition than Johnny Horton's original. Einfach spitze! It is sad that Les Humphries died alone and unnoticed. His music was feel-good entertainment pure. If you didn't hear it, you need a heart transplant!

  • Les Humphries ist tot!!!

    Les Humphries is dead!!!

Les Humphries ist am 26.Dezember in Basingstoke/England gestorben. Er starb

    an einem Herzinfarkt nach einer

    Lungenentzündung.

    R.I.P. Les Humphries
