Do you have any tips on preventing the glitter in the shadow from getting all over my face? LOL The makeup artist at the Mac counter in Macy's was using the Cinderfella on someone and it looked more black than silver on the girl. I don't know if he was using another shadow under the Cinderfella, but the shadow is silvery to me. Thanks Erin!

No you don't have to 'box' it up if you don't want to. I notice that black women who are Erin's color or my Mom's color or Naomi's or Gabrielle Union's color, they look great in true red lipstick in a way that lighter skin tones don't and black women who are Alek Wek or Grace Jones' color look great in dark true reds and burgandies.

I recommend a 'different' color also: MAC Beet lip pencil, it's the love child of red and hot pink/raspberry. No it's not scary.

That's what up!The blk does look good on u!! The blk w/the gold shimmers is nice 2. It looks like u can use it to gloss up ur lips or gloss up a lip color & don't gig on ur hair, it looks cute. The Night Violet w/gloss kinda looks like Lipglass Decorative. Seeing this vid is giving the make-up twitches. My hands r twitching to reach 4 my wallet. Now I gotta go buy it LOL. U know I'm shouting yes, yes, yes (for the lip colors) sounding like Meg Ryan in When Harry Met Sally, LOL.

Gimmerglass aren't meant to be put on alone because they are so transparent they are more for giving a tint (blackware) or more a shine (Blackfire) but yeah they are really really beautiful on top of the lippies that came out with this collection.

Those colors are nice are on you! Remember the "mama" rule: apply lip gloss/stick, then blot mouth like youre saying the word mama. Lol now I always think of my mom when I apply lip colors!

I was way way excited about the Style Black Collection and when I got there really the only thing I had my heart set on was the "Blue Flame" mineralize eyeshadow. (I may make a video later) that I love. I just think the richness in it is amazing. I may go back for the grease paintstick, the Ash Mask, and the Blackware lipgloss. I was kinda on the fence about them today when I was in mainly because I didn't know what I could wear as a base with the Blackware but now that I am home I have ideas

I tried the Black/Gold gloss over Night Violet mattene. Hot!!!...I also grabbed the black grease stick. I liked the shadows and picked up all but one (the purple one). Girl you are making me want to pick up that purple lip glass

I just came back from MAC and got a couple of boxes of the Volcanic Ash Exfoliator, Before the collection came out I wanted almost the whole collection, but the stuff wasn't what I thought it would be. The glimmer glasses were too sheer for me and the black lip products didn't serve a purpose since I already have MAC black lipmix. I don't like cream color bases so that was a no go and the shadows weren't base black with color fleck so I didn't get those either.
