A. A voice can't be pop. Therefore Anette's voice isn't pop. She's actually a soprano.

B. Nyman creates classical and pop music. It was stated that it was the heaviness and the guitar that he didn't like.

C. The song sounds powerful and emotional. I didn't hear any happy-go-lucky parts.

I wasn't meaning to say it like "Anette's voice isn't pop BECAUSE she's a soprano." I was pointing out how Pop is a music genre and not a vocal category. Therefore, Anette's voice is classified as soprano not Pop. Just like Tarja would be classified as classical soprano.

I think youre misunderstanding something... theyre not allowed to release this cover of michael Nyman's: The heart asks pleasure first'.. they can release a dvd of this concert if they want so;)

No one said that xD They were not allowed to publish THIS SONG on Dark passion Play or any album, however, thanks to the fans, Michael Nyman agreed to reconsidere his decision if the band sends him the the song again :D That happened TODAY!

IN the official Nightwish forums :D Also Anette confirmed it on her blog anette-olzon.blogspot . She said that she sent all the information to Tuomas, so, he would decide send or not send the song :) She sounded very excited BTW.
