  • I am so touched by all these comments. David Floyd, Sr. shown here at the top of the ladder was a brave, honorable man who helped others both at and away from fires. Thank you, bfrsmedic20. I wish I could thank you in person. His father was also a fireman who fought the Loveman's fire in his Sunday clothes many years ago. (Lt. Floyd at Elyton station)

  • Those guys are working a Big Line a 2 1/2" line off of a Ladder, Thats Guts and Smarts. Today these wimps would say Oh  thats to heavy or lets lay several 1 3/4" lines because we are to lazy or we are wimps. Good job Guys Birmingham has always had a good reputation for having a classy fire dept..

  • Thank you for the posting. I found it last week just browsing. My dad and his engine company are in this film , Engine 4. WOW !! To see them in action. In your other film " Recruit 65/68 i remember my dad taking me to the drill tower to watch ...and this time im in the film as a 5 yo watching with my mom and sister.
