As soon as the instructor let me go I made unintentional 360 turn. After that, I stopped turning for a second but then failed to maintain heading with the instructor. When I attempted to track to the instructor I lost heading again. Finally, I lost altitude awareness. I deployed at 4,000 ft instead of 5,000 ft.
Ohh ok. I guess i can see how its hard to maintain controll up in the air. You probably have to get used to little things so you can stay balanced, i guess you could say,right? one little move of the arm or something can make you turn or lose blanace?
It is not hard. The problem I kept having throughout the jump was having my legs uneven. Whenever I fixed that, I became stable right away. Maintaing good arm and legs position is vital. legs will have more effects than the arms becuase they are larger. Like I said, my problem in that jump was my uneven legs. Are you an AFF student too?
No. I am not, but I am really intrested in skydiving. My unlce is a skydiver, but other than that I dont know anything about it. In my home town of sullivan, the sky diving plane crashed and killed several ppl so they stoped for a while. Im not sure if it has picked back up yet.
@williamshockey88 Its not even getting "balanced" its the opposit of what you think it would be. You start to feel like you are falling to your left, so you stick out your left arm to keep from turning left, but all it does it make you turn MORE to the left...
I made my AFF 4 yesterday with no issues, other than my first solo landing with no radio, got my first cut up arm from that....
