The Wild Boar quarterback, #9, was really valiant in a hopeless situation. Apart from that one interception for a touchdown near the beginning, he was really good, despite getting constant hammered--and finally knocked out of the game in the fourth quarter. Poor fella. He needed some bigger blockers!

@daveintheclouds: The actual hit is probably not illegal, may be a blow to the head against a defenseless player since the targeted player is slowing down. The timing of the hit can also be questioned, the play is dead even there hasn't been a whistle yet. Therefore: Probably Illegal. I would have penalized it. (Referee from Sweden)

@dirteeh it was a blinside, the guy wasnt looking his way; he came in from the side and you dont have peripheral vision in helmets, so it was a blindside and was illegal as the player was downed.

@daveintheclouds The hit itself wasn't illegal, I already said it was after the play, thats illegal. you said "putting in a technically illegal blindside hit" which insinuates that you meant the hit itself was illegal, not the fact that it was after the play, which is why i argue that theres nothing actually wrong with the hit, had the play still been live there would be no question about whether it was legal or not
