  • Sucession needs to be done, and we need to enact Christian laws!

  • another great video RedShirtArmy. We need to Succeed NOW!

  • Just say no to the USSA today. Support your state.

  • I recently wrote Perry on his twitter page and told him that IF he resists the unconstitutional programs and abuses of the Feds I would vote for him AND do all I could to see he was re-elected. He's NOT ideal. But we're fighting for our lives and liberty, and our children's future here. To paraphrase Christ the Lord, he that is not against us is for us. Let's defeat the collectivists--then we can sort out the particulars.

  • This last week Perry called Obama a socialist & invoked the 10th amendment as a means of resisting the General government's abuses. Several state legislatures are considering resisting the collectivism of the liberals controlling Washington.

Everyone I talk to in Texas is either FOR secession or interested in the possibility. THE PEOPLE MUST LEAD the leaders IN THE STATES to resist unconstitutional abuses &, if necessary, secede.

Secession is the bulwark of liberty!

  • Wisdom from Dr. Hill. There is more interest in America's founding than I can recall in my 62 years. Why? Because Americans KNOW something has gone wrong and are trying to retrace our history to find the answer. Those who honestly do this come to see Lincoln as the villain he is; it was the south that was the bulwark of Liberty. Dr. Hill is right: we MUST look to the states and elect leaders who have the fortitude to resist the Feds. Perry may surprise him.

  • ''All we ask is to be let alone.''

    ~Jefferson Davis

  • The united States is not a Nation, it is a Treaty between Free and Independent States.

The time has come for some States to again leave that union Treaty.

    Secession now, Freedom forever!

  • As far as "central" government is concerned, I believe it is a necessary evil like taxes are. Central or federal government is only supposed to provide a common currency, provide a common national military to repel invasions and suppress insurrections and to show common deplomacy to the world. I believe if there is going to be any kind of income tax it should only be the states that tax income. Property taxes if those are going to remain, should only be taxed by towns and cities.

  • That would certainly be better than what we have now. However, in the future I'd like to see all taxes eliminated. Taxation is nothing more than theft. In the near future, we could at least get it down to a small percentage, but ultimately I'd like to get rid of it completely. I'd also like to get rid of currencies, though perhaps a start would be to go to a gold standard. Ultimately though currencies are a temptation that gov'ts can not refuse so I'd like to go back to real money, not paper.

  • Do you favor voluntarism over coercively obligatory government(the State) ?

  • I'd personally like to see the monopoly state system of gov't done away with eventually. In the past we had certain times when there were basically no taxes and no monopoly gov't. Monopoly states are not necessary to keep the peace, defend the people, prosecute criminals or build infrastructure. All of these things can be done (and were once done) without a monopoly state. There are a lot of different names for this system. I just like to characterise it as the elimination of the monopoly state.

  • I agree with you to a certain extent, but that can't happen in our life time. A world without currency or government would be more peaceful but for now government, currency, taxes and so fourth are needed now and are a necessary evil.

Like Thomas Jefferson I believe in the eventual idea that if freedom be left alone people will evolve to the point where the people will no longer need a master or leader figure.

  • I can sympathise with you, though I don't think that currency in particular and most taxes are necessary. Gold and silver are already being minted in distributed widely and would be even more so in the absence of paper currency. I think eliminating the legal tender laws would be a good first step towards this. As for taxes, eliminating property and vehicle taxes would be a good first step, with the eventual goal of getting rid of the income tax as well.

  • If you are talking about service for the individual to do for a community, I'm in favor of voluntarism. No free person should ever be forced, coerced or in any other manner made to serve.

The State should serve the People, not the other way around. Policy should be dictated by laws, not the Masses.

  • We are very close, I'm just a bit more radical. That's not a problem. Most people in the Pro-South movement are more like you than me, I can assure you. I can compromise. I think that taking steps towards liberty is the main goal - especially elimating the Feds from our lives, allowing our culture to again prosper and flourish.

  • The State is coercive. It will not serve the people.

People with voluntary governments will serve the people, people will serve the people.

That is why I asked you.

What do you favor, a voluntary government or a forced one?

  • Asperin, ultimately I agree with you that voluntary gov't is the ideal. I'm simply saying that we're not going to get there in 1 day, or even one step. I think that repealing taxes, supporting the right of secession for all smaller units of gov't from all larger units, and replacing the military with a militia and so on... these are steps that we can take towards getting to our goal of elminating the monopoly state.

  • Well, that is what I expect from you, that as a principle you do agree with voluntary government and not a forced one.

Secession is the way towards that, I'm with you on that.

My question was directed towards the other guy though.

  • Ah, gotcha. lol Sorry. Thought you were addressing me.

  • Yes I am for voluntary government. I thought you understood what I meant in that other response that I posted. I just like to make my responses to go a little bit in depth.

I am for a Republican form of Government not a Democracy.

"Democracy is nothing more than mob rule where 51 percent of the people take away the rights of the other 49."

    Thomas Jefferson-

  • Red I'm not exactly Pro South, but I'm sympathetic to most of your principles and Ideals. I am For The Following Free Speech The Right to Keep & Bear Arms Low Taxes Strong State Government Right to Property Limited General Central Government A Strong DEFENSIVE Military A Strong Sound Common Currency States Rights to Govern If you want to ask me questions feel free. By the way based on what I've mentioned do you think I'd be accepted in the South?
  • I'm basically for all the things you listened there except perhaps a bit more radical. But we are definitely on the same page. I think you'd fit right in with beliefs like those. The majority of the people here would agree with you on basically all that. The only way I'm a bit different is that after all the reading and experiences I've had I see a monoply state (government) as an evil thing which I would hope we could do without eventually - though I'm sure we aren't ready for that yet.

  • Hope y'all enjoy this 2nd part of the interview. Some interesting topics discussed here, I thought. The video is shot from around my house in western SC.
