That means pro quality, pro protection, top of the line materials, and made in Canada. And yes I wear pro gear. There is well over $5000 worth in my basement right now.

Cool - I recently purchased my first-ever set of goalie equipment...I got Vaughn Epic 8800 Pro Spec (Montreal colours) and am breaking them in while playing pick up hockey before registering in a league. I'll put up a video at some point, but I want to wait until I don't look like a drunken Tim Thomas (I'm 31 and just started playing ice hockey) :P

nice pads. I used the Nike's when they first came out. They look a little short on you though. Do you give up alot of 5 Hole goals? I had that problem too. I used the CCM Heaton 10's when they came out but I bought 35's at 6'4. Now I'm using Reebok Revokes 36+2s and having no problem. good luck

I rocked the Vapours a few years back and they were awesome. Tried the Rbks last year...which was a mistake...but they were free so I shouldnt complain.You made the right choice in my opinion. Those are sweet pads. I love how the glove in the blocker is offset. Best blocker I ever owned but the mitt just did'nt do it for me. Good luck

pretty cool pads, I stopped playing when koho went to RBK, so I cant really say much, Each goalie like diffrent feels of the pads. I tried Brown stuff before, hated it, heaton, hated it. so i had koho, but if I was playing I would check out the nike bauer stuff.

pretty cool pads, I stopped playing when koho went to RBK, so I cant really say much, Each goalie like diffrent feels of the pads. I tried Brown stuff before, hated it, heaton, hated it. so i had koho, but if I was playing I would check out the nike bauer stuff.

@alsancle nah, my stuff got stolen, just happens KoHo went out, and RBK came in. Just never had the money to get new stuff, or the time really anymore

@alsancle yeah, no joke. and I was stupid enough to get the pro line of everything, the only thing diffrent was the don simmons chest protector. I also had a custom made mask... GONE.... so here I am fat old, and out of hockey

@JBoogeyman oooo... not to far away but idk if you know but itech has closed and you AN GET ALOT OF THEIR STUFF ONLINE OR IN A LOCAL STORE PRETTY CHEAP at my local store they had models from a couple of years ago that were being sold for more than half of the price

what pads do you like better, always or nike bauer? i got some nike bauer pads but i made a mistake cus they were made in thailand instead of canadian i only like canadian made hockey products, next time i buy new pads ill remember to make sure that they are made in canada
