This past November, the first ever presidential forum on global warming took place. ALL candidates were invited. Not a single Republican bothered to show up. Only three candidates did-- Edwards, Clinton, and Kucinich. Edwards started slow, but by the end of his speech, he won the approval of the crowd full of environmentally concerned people.

Obama will invite the robber barons over to sit down and have tea and a polite chat :-(
Hillary will organize a commission to study the robber barons and then delay taking action against them for as long as possible in exchange for donations from the same :-(
Edwards will punch the robber barons in the jaw, knee them in the balls, and force them to pay workers a living wage and stop poisoning the environment :-)

Edwards' position on greenhouse issues is by far the best-informed by the science and economics. Obama got out ahead of him early in the campaign, but has since ended up weakening his positions, to be nice to nuke and coal interests. Nukes are too expensive (direct subisidies, gov't loans and insurance, waste disposal costs), and get you at best a quarter the net emission reductions you'd get spending the same dollars on wind, solar, and efficiency.
