It is English lavender that I am using, and the stems are snapping off when I bend them. However, I have tied them as a bouquet in 3 parts down the stem with the fishing line and will tie some ribbon around these to cover it, plus a long one at the end to loop over a coat hanger.

This video it GREAT! Thank you for posting this. My dad brought me a bunch of Lavander this afternoon and I wanted to do something pretty with it. This video makes this process look soooo much easier than other things I have read about wand making.
