  • So how would I are you are others put together a place in the wilderness where we can worship God and live for him away from whats about to take place.

  • @mogges1 We actually have live services online each week. Feel free to join us through Paltalk. The room is YHWH's Word of Faith

  • Mr Windal, there has been some thing on my heart for some time.as our country becomes more immoral and sinful.we that are ture follower of christ need a place we can worship when this country falls apart.it has been on heart for some time to start a Christian wilderness survival klan.where those that have truly repented and are following the laws of god can be together.as you know the rath of God is about to be unleashed on American and brithian like the world has never seen

  • You didn't teach me what I know, but it feels like you did.

I know, and USE, everything you do.

If only you made a video titled "Understanding and defeating the animals".

    Or. . . .Maybe I should.

It's like your an indian bent on survival, except you only use these practices when really needing to survive.

But damn man, this is my summer camping trip.

    1 knife, a 4x4 tarp- 1 can of beans, no opener. - That's is.

    1 week.

It's liberating. You teach people things I wish my friends knew.

  • Really good idea mate so usefull and cheap and could save your life

  • I always carry garbage bags even If im going out for a few hours or a day Im always picking up garbage from the forests I practice in.

I get almost a full bag every time its kinda sad.

  • great vid man, I always have a few black heavy duty garbage bags in my kit

  • Nice vid. Thanks for sharing the info :)

  • Great info!

  • Another great video, thanks Dave

  • you should put another bag inside the bag of leaves so when you use the sleeping bag u dont have to sleep in leaves

  • i love your videos!!!

  • Do we have any folk from northern Ca in here who want to form a local study group in bush craft? If so send me a message , Im looking for someone in my general area to practice bush craft with.

  • I have used plastic bags for many uses, from the great looking rain jacket, shelter and for use in gathering water in a home made water stile. Very under rater inexpensive item that a survival kit should have in it. Great video David, keep them coming!! Looking forward to many more on this subject!

  • Great vid. I agree this is a great time for these vids. U are a great presenter. Keep up the good work.

  • With the whole country feeling the effects of the recession these types of videos would be quite helpful. Thanks Dave and keep up the good work man :)

  • great but half a tube tent is better than none.

or you can A-frame it and shingle them to form a whole shelter with pieces of plastic and such

    great thanks.

  • PK...

That's a tall order.. but I could give it my best shot.. :)

  • Dave, i would like to see a video of you building a survival airplane out of a weed whacker, some sticks and of course a garbage bag. What do you think. I think you can pull it off :)

  • Oh, i hope my life doesn't come to that,

  • Insurance is like that, I hope I never need it but it is good to have. Being prepared doesn't mean we are hoping for bad times but being able to cope if they occur. My family survived the Great Depression because they were blessed and they knew how to use what they had.

  • Keep up the good work, my brother. It's almost as good as a visit. All that's missing is the bread and jelly.

  • Great Video, 5/5 We never go out without a few extra bags and cordage in our Kits, and BOBs.

The Use for Plastic Bags are endless. Also great for first aid kits, you can field dress a wound and keep from getting an infection. Thanks for the info.

  • i love how you tightened up that line it is soo easy and no knots in the middle

  • you might know this but you can boil water in a garbage bag

  • AKing..

You can.. but I don't. PCB's can easily leech into your water. I will show you how I do it in an upcoming series :)

  • @Aqualiteking with hot rocks

  • Great vid David! I always keep the 3 mil bags in my kits for sure.

  • another great vid!

  • At 5:25 in the video: Put a garbage bag over your head, then hold a lighted candle inside! Yikes, where did you get that one from. Chances are you will just melt a hole in it, but they will support combustion, the heavy duty ones more so . I suppose having molten burning plastic on your skin would serve to raise your core temp, even more so if you lit your other clothing on fire too, but I'm guessing that's not what you intended, other than this goofy one great suggestions

  • Offramp..

Thanks for those observations. You certainly need to be careful when putting a candle inside.. but it has been done by myself and many others... and it does warm you up. There's more room inside than you might think. Of course if you caught on fire I do suppose it would warm you more quickly :)

  • Yet another great video but what happened to the camera? Lots of pixelation.

  • I'm not sure where the pixelation is that you see Bro.. but it was getting dark as we shot this.. perhaps that caused some problems.. Thanks for the Comments

  • Must have been a YouTube thing, its better now.

  • Awesome, who would think there could be so many uses for a garbage bag! 5/5
