Union between our male and female aspects is vital to enlightenment. There are as many paths to that as there are seekers, I think it involves surrendering the personal mind and its foibles on the altar of truth, recognizing that the truth is always within us and letting that manifest, one cannot "think" it into being because that unity lies beyond conscious thought. On can only BE it. BEING IT needs surrender of the ego, not crushing it, just letting go.
