For what it matters, honda was meant for my motorcycle I used to have. I wasnt trying to stir shit, i was just trying to say that a g6 which is a family car, isnt a high performance race car. its peppy and sporty, but falls way short in the catagory of being a true performance car, thats all

Someone smart giving and in cabin perspective of an exhaust. Sounds like more wind noise than exhaust noise inside. I dig that. A dull grumble, like a bitter old man, inside nothing obnoxious. I need an exhaust that is only loud when you really get on it. Cut down on the speeding tickets and whatnot.

why do all you people buy this car thinking that its a race car? i have one and its a total slug. my 4 runner will outrun the g6. total waste of money for a race car. if you want a fast car, buy a fast car. not a slow one, then try to make it fast. horrible car though, nothing but problems.

I haven't had any prob's with my gtp coupe, and exhauts helps any car get more horse, why not if you can afford it, get abetter air intake too, get hid's put on it. i did all those, runs mint. Who says you need to race? 4 bangers sound like a sowing machine

lol you obviously dont know anything about racing. If you watched Le Mans, Continental, Rolex etc etc racing, the first year the G6 came out , it was brought into the GT1 and GT2 class. it was just this year when they dropped the G6 and now use the Camaro. obivously because Pontiac is dead, so you cant advertise a car that is longer being made. So stop talking out your ass

My comment however though was trying to let some of these people know that the G6 is a semi-sporty family sedan that is not built for racing. If the influence of the car was meant for the track dont you think it would have came RWD? Im just saying, I used to have one and I didnt think that it was very fast at all.

My car was a dealership show car. It was a GT with the GTP engine, exhaust, manual, leather seats, sunroof, all the upgrades really.

They definitely did come in a manual, however I believe they were available on 05, 06 and 07 model years only.

@titanlaxer21 pontiac g6 was available with either a 4speed auto or for no cost a 6 speed manual was available eventually the 4 speed became a 6 speed auto

Yes, the GT-R Will fit both the 3.5, 3.6 and 3.9L G6 engines.

Just putting a K&N intake on my 06 3.5 sedan makes it sound so much better, open deep easy breathing! Very nice! Plus a lot more responsive and noticeable power increase! Its all about torque thriving V6's! Love em!

What engine do you have? I thought only the 2006 GTP 3.9L came with manuals, and all the 2007 GTP came wit the 3.6LVVT were auto with slap shift.

Yeah...I got a G6 also, as well as another Pontiac and I'm convinced they put in awesome sound systems to cover up all the noise from when shit just starts falling apart.

yeah I have the 6speed. It's fun but a pain in the ass during high traffic situations. If I had to do it again I would get the automatic cus I'm lazy and also the 3.6 engine. But I can't complain really.
