No its the Nash Ramblers... she recorded this song for her Band New Dance album. its not the whole group... later she recorded a whole album in the studio with the Nashramblers called Spring Training.. with John Starling and Carl Jackson that was the beginning of her touring Group in 1990...
The Angle band was only in in 1974-1975....... later she made an album called Angel band, but that was only a title of a song.... most of the cast from the "Angel band" album was the The Hot Band ( acustic)
I thought I'd wear out my hard drive playing REK's version. I suppose I'll burn out the wires between my Mac'n'Boombox and YouTube playing this versiion. Heaven will be hearing Emily Lou and Robert Earl singing this together.
Her voice will just tear your skin off! On my third listen right now and likely not my last. I too have driven the Raton Pass and seen the moon over the Gunnison. Such bittersweet times, such precious memories.
hard to tell exactly what or who this is.The soundtrack seems to be dubbed over something else.Still,it's a gret song.
