John Barrowman came to the States when he was pretty young (8 I believe) and spent at least up through his teen years there. The kids had made fun of him so he worked hard to change his accent. He can still do the Scottish one. It's pretty damn sexy too. ^^

If you live in the US, the SciFi channel airs it periodically. I also think Barnes and Noble offer it on their website. I saw it on SciFi, and believe me, it is one of the worst movies ever.
