This song is so beautiful! One of my favorite Texas All-State pieces this year, if not my absolute favorite. The Soprano 1 part (my part) is, in a word, amazing. Also, the 12-beat high A at the end is very fun to sing. :) Hehe

Uber-long As aside, does anyone else feel like the high notes are a bit wimpy this year? Seriously, the highest note in any of the songs is an A. No Bs or Cs?

i sing second sopranno but i sang second alto in this piece and it was so much fun!

i fell in love as soon as i read it the first time

I love the echo/fugue at the end building up to the massive ending!
