  • the rope is tied hard and fast to the horn before they enter the arena

  • Do they dally after they catch the calf?! Or dally before they throw

  • @costa5801 They dont dally at all

  • It doesnt hurt them calfs are about 3 times tougher than we are they can fall 6 feet on there back and not break there backs

  • You people are fucking sick.

  • What's the point of watching calfroping if everyone does the exact same thing and the same action over and over again it's like photoshoping men on a horse

  • The 2009 NFR is never gone forever as the past is never gone forever, but will forever and ever come back to us again, right here again in real life again forever and ever just to keep on being repeated for hundreds and thousands of years forever and ever, as there's forever and ever gonna be another 2009 rodeo season and also another 2009 NFR, as it'll be back again and brought to life, as long as everybody believes me, as good highlights from the past come back to us again to be repeated YAHOO

  • 2010 is going to be awesome

  • thanks for posting this, really good stuff... post again for 2010

  • Cant wait till 2010 nfr

  • yes tyson go on

  • What will happen in your life, say next year or still last year, is already on the reel, you just haven't arrived at that point yet, but you can still go back in time. Call it destiny or whatever. The Creator can look backward or forward in the reel as HE pleases. HE can stop the reel if so desired. Our lives, from birth till life to just stay and be alive again forever and ever are already fully contained within the reel.

  • Many thought that the competition was over, but Jeff Chapman was about to prove them wrong. The NFR rookie shocked the crowd with a 6.8 second run, shattering the 7-second barrier forever. It's been called the greatest round of calf roping, not only in history (sort of), ones which we may forever and ever see the likes of again because it means it wasn't only to be that one moment, that means it'll happen again as we know that there's forever gonna be another 1997 in real life again here, YAHOO!

  • Blair Burk backed into the box during the ninth go-round set on getting his name back on the record list (he had previously shared the 7.3 second record with Cody Ohl). He stopped the clock at 7.0 seconds. Just two runs later, three-time world champion Fred Whitfield raised the roof when he roped and tied his calf in 6.9 seconds.

  • Record Round of Calf Roping Runs at the 1997 NFR

All of the light bulbs on the strip of Vegas could not have provided the same amount of electricity that was felt in the Thomas and Mack Arena that Saturday night. Just one night earlier, Ronnie Hyde had broken the existing record of 7.3 seconds with a 7.1 second run, as we'll forever and ever see the like of that run again to say "Yes, like this! Yes, like this!" because it means it won't only be that one moment, that means it'll happen again!

  • 0.52 nicest get off of the 2009 NFR

  • I like the guy on the first buckskin. Talk about momentum.

  • tuff is da man!

  • @toddsdaman5 Tuff is a beast he lives right by me
