I'd like to tell all you idiots out there, a 250 2stroke races against the 450 four strokes. Not In the 125cc class. 125's and 250's run the 125cc class. 250 2's and 450 4's are in the premier 250cc class which is now pretty much the 450 class seeing as no one rides a 2 smoke anymore. It's all about whos on the bike. Not the bike itself. Some of you people are completely stupid

If a 250 2 stroke is just as good/ better than a 450F, then why do 250 2 strokes race 250 classes? Are they not fast enough for 450 classes or do they just want to win? Or is it that 2 strokes really are the lesser bike?

@jwctex14 The reason why this kid can run the 250cc two stroke in the 250cc fourstroke class is all because of a technicality in the rules. The ama isn't gonna say you can't run a 250 bike in the 250 class two stroke or not that would be ignorant. Don't think that four strokes are that much faster than two strokes pound for pound the two stroke is a more powerful machine. Why do you think the fourstrokes need almost double the cc's to compete. You really think a 450 can holds a candle to a 500?

@jwctex14 Well i did answer your question no they aren't the lesser machine and I'm not a die hard two stroke fan or nothing the fact is, is that 2 strokes are the stronger bike pound for pound. Now your right riding a 250cc in the 125 class doesn't make sense so why was the 250f allowed to ride the 125 class? If it had the power to hang with the 250t they would have raced it in that class but they didn't cuz it doesn't. Was this kid sandbaggin ridin that bike in this class i would say yeah....

That was HIS decision to do that though so don't say "oh yeah they're sandbaggin cuz they don't have the power to run in the 450 class"cuz thats balogna. Personally i think that its 90% rider 10% bike I mean look what stewart on his 125 did against all those 250f's. So in short, no 2t aren't the lesser and i think more people shoud ride the 250t in the 250f class just to prove a point but thats just me. MX4LYFE!!!

@FuckPeople91 So, he is sandbagging the class. But because he can't hang with the 450 guys he sticks with the 250F's and 125's. It's just a case of sore looser, then going to a lesser A class to be a guy on top again. I believe that classes are more based on HP than size. And 250 2t bikes (according to internetz experts) have more HP than a 250F. So really, they are sand bagging with bikes. But they just don't know how to ride it fast enough to keep up with the 450 riders. This comment loops. Ha

@jwctex14 Sure I guess. The jist of what im saying is, from a mechanical standpoint the two stroke is faster. Oh and you wanna hear a conspiracy on the four stroke? Apparently Honda convinced the AMA two change the rules to better suit the fourstrokes so that the pros would have to switch over to them as well as the average consumer. The reason why is because since four strokes have more moving parts they break easier and are way expensive to fix so yea they're playin everyone for sure. MX4LYFE!

@FuckPeople91 Yeah, I've heard that too. I think it's a load of crap that comes from 2 strokers who couldn't keep up with 4 strokes or thought that because the doubled CC meant doubled HP. I haven't had my '09 KX250F break once. My '01 CR125 blew once in 9 rides. Then another time instantly after we fixed it. After we fired up that time the bottom end blew. So, clearly I'm no fan of 2 strokes. Besides. Mixing costs a lot over time.

@jwctex14 No I realize that double the cc's doesn't mean double the horse power, BUT you want to know what the faster machine is right? Well when you put a two stroke and a four stroke that are the same cc on a dyno the two stroke makes more hp, bottom end, and top end.Oh and did you buy that Honda new or used? because there's no way a bike fresh from the factory is gonna break down like that. What do you mean mixing costs a lot over time? do you mean mixing gas or what I'm confused.

@FuckPeople91 I got it used. But after replacing almost everything in the engine I would atleast expect it to run right. But it didn't. Yeah, mixing gas. If you ride a lot then it starts to pile up. Same with the little fixes. I know a 2 stroke that is new will blow after about 30 or 40 hours. My 4 stroke is at about 80 hours or so and nothing bad has happened. Even though a 4 stroke costs a bit to repair, two strokes cost just as much, but over time instead of at once.

@jwctex14 Well your cr didn't break just because it was a 2t I promise you that. It probly was worn out when you bought it cuz I know from experience I have been racing competitavly since I was seven, and we've never had that problem, mainly because my Dad kept my bike in about as good condition as you can keep one. Anyway you said that mixing gas and small fixes add up but a 4t with a good rider are more prone to break due to more moving parts under stress. The valves will be the first to go...

@jwctex14 not to mention that to completly repair a blown up 4t costs up to 3000 compared to 700 with a 2t, and as far as mixing gas goes the only thing xtra your paying for is pre-mix, and really it ends up costing the same amount because you have to buy and change oil in the 4t anyway. The only difference with the 2t is your mixing the oil within the gas instead of it being separate like in the 4t. Plus you have oil filters and stuff like that you have to keep up with so overall 4t"s cost more

@jwctex14 its because you can mod a 250f to be just as fast or faster then a stock 250 2 stroke. it really doesnt matter because its all about the rider. for example, you can stick a goon on a villopoto's race bike and he will still be a goon. a fast rider can make any bike (no matter how slow) go fast
