@Towel1e (on dry smooth surface) With RWD there is more friction as more power goes in to spinning them, this makes them heat up much quicker, meaning so they grip quicker giving more traction off the line. With 4WD and AWD all 4 tyres spin but only the rear heat up (because the car lurches back on the suspension) so power is being wasted (distributed to the front wheels) to spin wheels which don't do anything for getting the car moving.

srry mate didnt read it properly thought u said that the bug eyes had a 2.5. the one after the big eye was a 2.5 as was the one after that but with the new one u can import a 2.0 from japan because for some reason they use the 2.0 boxer rather than the 2.5.

well to b honest id go classic all the time as u can get a 93-96 wrx with 260 bhp where as a bug eyed or later model wrx will only have 220 bhp, but the newer sti 03 to 08 have around 300 or so bhp where as a 97-2000 has 280 bhp. but so does the 97-2000 wrx so dnt really matter wat u have in that age. torque sides of things newer ones have slightly more. but id have a classic for sure
