  • Hey ! This is not crap, man... This is obviously great and made me hit the LIKE button. Good work.

  • Good !

  • I always thought that the Brits were GOOD at acting. Lesson learned.

  • what is the software to create this effect?

  • Nice fighting :)

  • Cool effects!!

  • poor padawan and lol at the end they have opposite lightsabers

  • ummm sorry but you should actually say your on the forest moon of endor because that certainily isnt endor

  • Comment removed

  • its kinda like earths moon

  • and how do you know this?

  • because if you see the star wars the return of the jedi they fly past it

  • the 4th moon of Yavin to be perfect

  • as in what it looks like because it cant be the 4th moon of yavin how do moons have moons lol

  • the padawan smiled when he died... :-|

  • It had heart lol

  • Good blade penetration.

  • nice saber skills!

  • editing is very good, but i hate the moves...a star wars actor said in an interview, that a jedi in the film can fight in real life too, the audience wont like it if they realize the actor cant handle the lightsaber in real life.. but anyway, good vid:)

  • Very cool, a lot of rotoscoping.

    Well done

  • Those hasbro lightsabres? Did you take them apart and add a new blade to fight with or did you use the toy as you'd brought it? I only ask cos ive a hasbro episode 3 Obi wan saber and i wana take the blade off

  • just used them as they came mate

  • Good effects and camera work. Ad costumes and you'd havea heck of a video. The action could be a little tighter though.

  • nice dude

  • n video who cares about the costumes u aint star wars nerds

  • 5 stars!!

  • Ohne diese Alltagsklamotten wäre der Film recht gut ;)

  • you forgot ewoks lol btw

  • sorry to say this but um for duels of fate you need to be a bit faster fighting like the duel with obi wan and darth maul and qui gon um its good 4/5 u need faster fight and a lil expression in voice

  • didn;t you read... sorry about shitty acting... test, you know...

  • noob i said you forgot the ewoks..wats that got to do with the shitty acting?

  • oopsy sorry i read the wrong comment my mistake

  • nice one!

  • Help us to SAVE DUNE FAN FILM!!!! PLEASEEEEEEE

    Vote please!!!

You must to search in Google ''New Dune Fan Film Needs Your Support '' and you will find information about it

SAVE DUNE FAN FILM (not profit, not commercial interest)

  • Adobe After effects was used for the sabers. Adobe premiere for the editing

  • can i use your serial code of activation adobe AE 7.0 trial???? lol

  • Can u say the program u used in this video...

  • Forget all the shitty comments from people...the effects were good and that's what you were after so, good job!

  • great. do another. a better one =)

  • its prettu cool u guys, the effects are really cool but the acting was reaaaaally crappy and u should have worn some robes, or not make it as serious like "three in the afternoon"

  • honetly guys I gave two thumbs up i actually enjoyed the film. you guys should do another one.

  • To be honest, I find this pretty good. 4/5. Good job dude. And I know your not a Star Wars Nerd (I am xD) but make another one : D

  • to be honest i actually love it all 5/5

  • shittlesticks look again mate i think you find we did. "This was made purely as an effects project" (rolls eyes)

  • i give it 2/6 for my own standers u did good on saber effects and filming but jimatay if this was a effects project say that in the title u retard or in the summary of the video so ppl dont make a mistake on why u made this movie

  • good light saber effects, crappy acting ,bad costumes, good story for a short fan film

  • Reminds me of my movie "The Battle on Endor."

  • Niice costumes ha ha

  • Can You Send me The Backround Image You Used For The Text

  • Slow The Talking Down And It Will Be Better And The Response Should Be Later

  • Yeah for all of you that keep banging on about us not wearing costumes. We're not starwars nerds!! I ain't running around no woods in Coventry dressed up as a jedi. This film (as stated) is JUST a effects project. Nothing else. We wasnt trying to make a great starwars fan film. For our proper fan film search for The Band (the office prequel)

  • i've seen worse acting... but I can't seen I've seen worse costume ideas...

  • Nice lightsaber effects.

  • effects were good but the fighting was a bit weak but all in all a good film.

  • I wish I was an expert on computers like all this fan film makers are...

  • Whats the logiciel to do lights sabers ?

  • the beginning was funny. and the movie was creative good job.

  • Pretty good but the battle scenes need a little work.

  • you are too much static when you fight but it's not bad though

  • Not bad. Few little niggles, but full props go out to you for doing a SW film as I know personaly how long it takes to edit in those lightsabers.

  • great job guys!!

  • The acting was okay, but you must work on your wardrobe. Have you ever seen a Jedi with shorts? I think not. 3/5

  • how bout short shorts? that would be fun :D lol

  • I liked it,but usually when the light saber falls on teh ground it going back into the handle. But in all it was very good, thru critisism comes perfection i wanna see a new 1 lol

  • They probably used the FX sabers, they can't be shutdown.

  • Popeye is avenged!

Great fanfilm, if you worked on the acting this could be movie standard the coerography was pretty good v. fast 4/5

  • That Was Very Good. Take out the crappy Acting. All you need to work on is costumes. =)

  • Awesome!!! i want to make one now

  • That was great! Not bad for a fan film. I'd love to see more films like that.

  • At 5:24 look at the red lightsaber. WTF?

  • haha, neat little trick that is, cause the lightsaber was on the wrong way round the thought is the jedi would bring the hilt to him the quickist way, hence flip it over, and we thought it looked cool.

  • pretty good

  • pretty cool! and i have seen way wores acting. were did you film this?

  • In coventry, it says in the credits ;)

  • Well done, for a first film that was really good!! The special effects were wicked; i take it u used fxhome for the lightsabers. Kickass!

  • No we used Adobe aftereffects, thanks for watching and liking

  • wow =)

  • quick suggestion, the hilts should be smaller and the sith that's using a curved hilt should use it single handed more often. that what that saber style was made for.

  • Good points, and we could do nothing about the hilts as they were toy ones, wasn't going to make our own, but thanks for the feedback.

  • i've seen worse acting.. much worse

  • there won't be a next film, we don't like doing one thing more than once, we sinced moved to other things like comedy and action. but thanks for watching and letting us know what you think

  • Just a few comments:

I love the effort you put into this. You tried hard, and I liked how your accents sounded.

A few obvious suggestions for your next film: Don't use Duel of the fates as the sound track. Everyone has done it, and it's overused now. Same with filming in the forest. Everyone has a fan film in the forest. Try a city alley, or a long hallway maybe.

    Otherwise, good job.

  • Agree with Firefox13A. Costumes would be cool.

  • ha ha ha very FAT lightsabers

  • hey cool vid, im making a fan film star wars exactly the same style as urs:S which is wierd, if u see one of my trailers my friends are wearing white t shirts like u and its based in the woods!!! neway again well done, and i need after effect so bad

  • also one thing that bugs me, try to use different music other than star wars, i know its so tempting but i feel it works better if u put together different music, gd work

  • lol. u dong have to dress like a jedi but and and shoes would add to the effect of the video lol.. i think people walking their dogs would be equally freaked by people in their underwear running around fighting with fake lightsabers lol.. but good job

  • cool

  • the costumes are no big deal...If I were making a fan film I probablly wounldn't use them either. The plotline, however minimal, was an awesome touch

  • The editing wasn't a massive task to be honest, just knew what we wanted and did it quite quickly. And we were never going to wear the costumes let alone pay for them, its a effects project, not story telling.

  • Nice! Truly in the spirit of Star Wars fan film-dom! :D

  • You guys went through alot of effort to edit this, but why oh why didn't you use costumes? Take some pride in your work and go the extra mile, and don't advertise it as 'crap'. You really aren't far from having something really decent.

  • kool video not so bad, just a little of speed in the punch and kicks.

  • Hi guys, i'm the guy in the film who plays the sith.

    Thanks for that comments.

re:ninja, we could have made ourselves look more like jedi but it was really hot and there was lots of people walking dogs around and we didn't wanna look more nerdy than we already were.

re:Films 27, well its hard to explain if you don't know how but it invloves key framing the saber image. And going in and out is pure camera tricks.

  • Tut tut! Hot weather and people around are no excuse for anything. I had myself and three friends wearing jedi robes in a public place for two hours while shooting a film. No one minded.

However, I rather enjoyed the laid back look the jedi had, and it seemed to make the fighting a tad faster than other films where the characters are in full costume.

  • exelent choreography

  • not bad for a first time fan film. It was very good.

  • Nice! I have almost no complaints... Except you could have done a little more to make yourselves look like jedi.

  • hey kool video. i know how to make da blade in adobeaftereffects but can you tell me how to make the blade stay on the fake one through out a whole video? and also how do you make it look like it goes in and out?
