just a masterful tv show.....with a character i reallly dig..........beats any u.s. show so far ,in the last few years.........you are funny steve../.....thanks
great video mate, but you didn't include the first episode of the first series...the killing of the pigeon (and then the over kill with the pistol) and then the "veggy brigade" finisher lol
The 2nd episode of the 2nd series has 2 clips from a brilliant track ('Wages of Peace') by Tony McPhee & The Groundhogs from the 1972 album 'Who Will Save The World? The Mighty Groundhogs! Superb.
Cool, thanks for the heads-up. As I'm American I hope it comes to BBCAmerica like the first series. Not likely, though, as all they show now are trashy soaps.
Would also suggest our US friends (and any one else) checks out the much underrated 'Coogans Run' series from late 1995, including classics such as Paul and Pauline Calf, Gareth (the yuppie salesman),Ernest Moss, Natural Born Quizzers.Available on DVD / Video in the UK.Preferred these to Alan Partridge myself.
I've been trying to find it. I've liked what I've seen, especially Paul and Pauline Calf. And don't forget The Day Today, which in addition to Partridge, features a cornucopia of memorable Coogan creations. "Is this cool!?"

This is all from one episode right?
I say that because I have never seen any of these clips, but I have 5 episodes on tape. So, this must all be from the one I missed?
alanmercer23 4 years ago
Yes, they're all from Episode 6. There are 7 in total, though.
TulseLuper 4 years ago
Damn, I'm missing two then, lol. I wish they'd release them on DVD! Thanks man.
