There is currently, and most likely will never be a way to do what you are suggesting without flashing the firmware on the disk drive, and even then you will need to back up the games to your pc.

as you know, having a console with flashed(modified) firmware is against microsofts terms of service.

many people have gotten bans, but it is not known wether this is related to the update or the playing of GOW2 and COD5 online before release day.

i have had no problems with my flashed console, so i dont think you will, make sure you have iExtreme 4.0 firmware and you'll be fine.

I don't have a 360, but I know that if you go on Live, they ban your Live account. I don't know if they lock your Xbox or anything like that.

I tried this but when you rip it and take the disc out and press "play from hard drive" it says "please insert disc" I mean, what the fuck is the point in installing it if you have to have the disc in to play it?!

it doesnt copy the game just the game loading things so the game runs quieter and loads faster (THE GAME IS NOT COPYIED INTO YOUR CONSOL OR ELSE PEOPLE WOULD JUST RENT GAMES FOR 5 BUCKS AND INSTALL THEM AND XBOX WOULDNT MAKE NO MONEY GAME COMPANYS)
