  • my 3.8 mustang has 180000 miles and just now had a minor problem the thermastat stuck and blew the intake gasket other than that has never failed to start

  • AUTOMATIC FTW !!

  • @notoriousleb yea not really lol the car is down for right now cuz the automatic took a shit, thats y i like good old fashioned manual trans. and b4 its back on the road thats what will be in it probably a 6 spd from a cobra a buddy of mine can get me an adapter plate made for it to accept it onto the 3.8. well 4.2 when im done

  • @tjmaxxse True i like my auto for city and cruising.

Autos arent realiable like manuals but when your

tired and fat like me autos are best

  • @notoriousleb oh yea i am with u on that lol but i think a mustang shouldnt have an automatic, like yea a nice big body 4 door or even a truck but not a sports/muscle car, unless u are goin for 1/4 mile. cuz if u want consistent 1/4 mile get a nice built auto with a stall converter but where is the fun? im goin for road courses in the scca so an auto wouldnt be as good because of the downshifting to slow the car so i can brake later.

  • @notoriousleb True i have a automatic toyota supra turbo and if

it wasnt turbo it would suck as a auto, least you can hold the boost

thru each gear. Im looking at getting a auto v6 mustang,

For a V6 i dont think it should be mandatory for a manual, since their

pretty gutless. On the other hand a GT or cobra yes they shouldnt

come with autos it kills the purpose .

  • Sounds good with dumps. Had mine running out the Y pipe for awhile. Looking on gettin a GT takeoff.

Check out the V6 exhaust vid on my youtube page. Sorry, dumb thing wont post with a url.

My V6 back in 04. Exhaust out the Y pipe.

V6's are decent. I've had mine for nearly 10 years. Done all the work myself to date.. HG's do go out typically around 75k - 90k miles. It's a common defect in the cylinder head. Had my HG replaced one month after buying it in 2000. It's leaking again now.

  • @MustangLX5point0 yeah me to, had to get the heads shaved.. then it leaked again so just bought new heads

  • ok i ask you cause a gonna buy one

  • runs good the v6s ?they are good?

  • yea the only problem i have heard is their head gaskets blow around 130k miles. other then that they are strong reliable motors, with a good potential for power and a wide array of aftermarket parts.

  • its automatic?

  • yes sir, atleast for right now..... i jus blew the auto so im rippin this bitch apart and throwing a 5speed possibly a 6 and before its goes on the road again it will have over 400rwhp

  • identical to mine except red cut the muffler right afte the cats still y pipe after cats tho sounds good mine is a little more beefy tho

  • nice sound dude . i'm about to buy a 94 stang and need some ideas. what exactly was done with your exhaust cuz thats the exact sound I want. cool video man

  • basically its easy to achieve that sound, from the headers the exhaust stays dual and then goes to a y pipe to single exhaust somewhere under the center console area of the car, jus unbolt it there at the flange and u have the same sound lol, and there is not really any noticeable loss in low end power due to the fact that you still have the cats and it still goes to single exhaust which will keep your back pressure

  • have my 94 3.8 no muff and cold air intake-if u put a c.a.i it will sound even better

  • yea i've since gotten a cai that goes into the fender well. it gives a nice sound and whistles loud lol. and i did notice the slight change in exhaust tone.

  • you do know the deadly carbon monoxide gas is seeping into the cabin every time you drive with those open headers right? its just a matter of time.... and also, you must have like almost no torque whatsoever with that because of the lack of back pressure. A full exhaust would sound better, and be safer.

  • um yea its not open headers, its right where it goes from dual to single exhaust, there is a flange there, so the only loss in back pressure is a muffler and a couple feet of pipe, no big difference, it still spins off the line. and im not worried bout the carbon monoxide. i usually ride with the windows atleast cracked, and its where ppl usually dump the exhaust anyway.

  • dude do what i did to my hemi ram take it to duals ull gain horsepower and better low end and way better high end more air flow and i doubt u lose back pressure by going duals

  • thanks al gore

  • i dont give a shit about the atmosphere, i was just lookin out for him

  • Haha nice job fucking your engine up, keep it up bud.

  • and how am i fuckin my engine up may i ask? since ur so "smart", lemme hear what u have to say

  • As a fellow v6 owner... please put mufflers on. *thumbsup*

  • that shit was great, leave it off,6erWAvengance dont know what he's talking about

  • plz god no...i have a v6 stang, and after hearing that i hope u get a shit load of tickets

  • lol, fag.

  • fuck you pussy i've got nothin but compliments on how my car sounds without the exhaust, most think i have an exhaust system. and nope no tickets yet fag boy, i jus don't hit the gas by cops dick
