Tyler Perry movies are "approved" because they are "safe".

And I know what you mean "Bad Romance" as a song and video were just such a fucking original moment not just in her career and life but in music history. Such a fucking amazing and perfect depiction of the music industry machine. And I personally love the “Bad Romance” video more and it is still my #1 fav Gaga video, but in terms of cinematography and art “Born This Way” is just superior. The visual references and the choreo and the storyline… UGH! SUPERB!!!

There are Black producers and directors making movies that are not like Tyler Perry. These producers and directors are not getting a chance in Hollywood because the distributors won't back them. Hollywood is too intimidated by Blacks, especially dark skinned female actreses.There are very few Black female dark skinned A-listers. Hollywood still has racial issues. Tyler Perry movies are "approved" because they are "safe".

@sassy808 That's fine but i the Marilyn Monroe thing is just a style that at some point everybody has done (Madonna, XTina, Britney, Kylie etc) and since Madonna actually has her own ideas it wasn't so bad, Everything Gaga does now is related in some way to Madonna and it's getting really old to me (and a lot of others) if i wanted to listen to Madonna i do i don't need Gaga rehashing everything.

1. I didn't like Gaga's video at all, to me the intro had nothing to do with the main part which was just a regular old dance routine and it made me laugh with her using all these words like "temporal" to sound intelligent when half of the stuff she was saying didn't make any sense.
I did like the pink wig/tuxedo look and that skull tatoo guy is SO hot but for me she is so self indulgent with these videos and takes them far mor serious than they are.
