She had all the talent in the world but couln't get over how people were so fukin cruel to her,she made it but was avery lonely person in her private life so like a lot of people drugs were her escape, i watched the documentary on the festival express she was quite the party girl wished i could of met her to me she was a beautiful person.Wen she passed her folks were gettin cards from people in there 80's, from all around the world.RIP Janis

I saw her on this tour at the Winnipeg show in 1970 and she was incredible, I love replaying the tapes of her performances espessialy on the Festival Express tour in Canada. I can still see images of her expressivenes as I was very close to the stage. One of the high points of my life. May Janis rest in peace.
