  • Hearing this makes me think Adrian Belew or King Crimson

  • Are you using an expression pedal at the end?

  • @Whyrendog During the whammy style part? Yes.

  • @blood5150 what expression pedal is?

  • @blood5150: what expression pedal is?

  • @blood5150 What expression pedal is?

  • @PortalTuxtlaTv Ernie Ball VP jr passive volume pedal

  • Good demo!

  • @JohnLRice

Thanks... I like my Demo#1 better ... Its an amazingly fun piece of equipment.

  • instant talent!

  • Eventide should be paying you money right now, because you just sold one of their units to me tomorrow.

That's it - i can't take it any longer. MUST HAVE RIGHT NOW!!!!

Well OK - tomorrow after the store opens....

  • @adamfstewart81 I wish they were man... or at least some free gear!

  • Hey! We use the same cable! We're like twins, or something

  • These are the most musical demos of the pitch factor i've heard. Great job.

  • Thanks for the kind words.

  • @blood5150

Bank 13:2 sounds great, reminds me of Steve Morse's solo stuff.

  • I hear a little King Crimson in there too!

  • Hey I have a question, so do you have to use distortion before the pedal if you want a distortion? Or can you use an amps distortion? Because with delay units the delay will sound like crap if you don't put it in the effects loop, and I was wondering if the harmonizer had a similar crappy sound if used before distortion on the amp. Thanks.

  • I would say distortion before the PF unless you are going to run it in an effects loop on your amp.

  • So I heard, after I wrote that, that distortion will actually make the tracking worse because it's harder to track a dirty signal.

  • Personally, I prefer the Pitchfactor before the distortion/overdrive pedal. However, it's preference. Go with whatever sounds best to you...

  • the delay is really only for the time based effects.... for straight harmonizing, you could just shut the delay off....

  • THIS is a pedal!!!! the only bad thing is the price... :(((

  • Really? Man, I know of no other pedal that'll do this stuff for only $500. Plus, Eventide produces a quality product, always. Road-worthy, roadie-proof.

  • Great demo, thanks. First class stompbox here. Are you able to store your tweaked presests in any way, i mean, what if you find a sound you like to keep? Can you store it in the pedal memory or once you turn the pedal off is lost?

    Thanks for helping.

  • Yes... you can overwrite any of the 100 presets....

  • 7.2 is kiler!

  • Whoa, what a melancholic sound, the 7:2 bank and 8:2 is so uplifting. What a treat!

  • I was wondering if the Pitch factor was in the fx loop of the Roland Jazz Chorus amp. I am curious how it would sound placed in an fx loop. I use rack gear for my stereo imaging. I only use pedals for my wahs, pitch shifter and tuner. The Stereo fx sound really good on this pedal. Nice Demo. Dig the Steve Vai, " Ballerina"

  • Awesome. I wish it came with an expression pedal.

  • so, can you use just the dalys as a preset without any pitch effect? and what can you say about the whammy prestet, can you blend it with a little delay to get the gilmourish sound? Thxs mate!!!

  • you can use the delays without the pitch effects... I havent tried the Gilmour whammy.. I know the sound though.. He used it on his latest solo record..

  • all the delays are digital? no low res or tape delays?

  • Yes... all digital.. To me, the delays are a bonus...

  • it sounded like you were playing isle of the cheetah at 4:15. confirm it! and if so, we should talk more.

  • It was indeed some HUM in there...

  • I just got this and you made a great demo. Do you know if there's a way to go backward through the banks? It seems if I want to go from preset 33 to 23 I have to go all the way around to get back to 23 as opposed to going backward to 23?

  • I think that with the optional digitech 3 stomp footswitch you can program one of the switches to go backwards..

  • Thanks for uploading in 720p! It both looks and sounds amazing, especially sounds.

Can you spend more time demoing the H910/H949 and the Synthonizer algorithms?

    Thanks,

    -Sean

  • Are you using this in the effects loop of the amp, or into the input?

  • This amp does not have a loop... so Im going DIST - PITCHFACTOR - FRONT OF AMP..

  • holy shit!!

  • This totaly makes me rethink my biggotry towards digital devices and solid state amps.

  • I use tube amps live, but the JC-77 is one of the cleanest amps out there... good for demoing things, etc..

  • Thanks for the demo. All of your banks sound incredible....Gassing for a PF now to join my other Eventide's

  • i thought they only had 10 banks x 2 presents each. some of you screen shots show bank 13, 24 etc. are these factor presets or some of your custom settings.

    sweet tones either way!

  • This unit comes with 50 banks with two presets each for a total of 100 factory presets....

  • I love the bnk 7:2 patch sounds amazing. Also, thanks for the HUM type riff on bnk 24:2!!!

  • this + skreddy mayo + timefactor + polychorus = heaven.

  • thanks for the demo! it sounds amazing!

  • Sounds really amazing like 12 guitars. That Charvel is Schweet, too. C U tomorrow, Jace. = )

  • Thanks to share !

  • Thanks for the demos, it's good to be able to hear them whilst we are waiting for them in Europe.

  • You are welcome!

  • awsome!!!!!!!!
