  • Eargasim!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Maiden's quality still the same throughout the years i honestly did quote some of the verse in my PHD in political sciences presentation extracted from 'For the greater good of god' so the guys that repeatedly argue that only the 80's are maiden's finest moments are mistaken

  • @MrHardRockSam how are they mistaken? maidens 80s early 90s were the best... easily even though dance of the death and brave new world were decent

  • One of the best songs ever! Orgasmic!

  • i wish i was born in the future....so when i discovered maiden i would listen to their complete discography in a row for first time and have a maidenic overload

  • @7shadowking I understend every bit of what you just wrote.

  • @Gesztenye10 a pletykák szerint a következő turné a Somewhere és Seventh albumokat fogja magába foglani.Úgy legyen!!

  • this was the first maiden album i ever owned--favorite band of all time--a great album and bruce hates it..BTW, if any cares to take a listen to my band Orion, the songs are called "Lies Within The Lies" which is about the lies that they feed us in the media-the suspension of our constitution and how times: they are a-changin"..and "Rise Of The Monarch Slaves" which is about our celeb icon worship...no budget so this is our only way to get the word out..these are only rough mixes...cheers!!!

  • This song is Cool!!

  • nicko well well well how good is he does not use a twin kick peddel long live greg morrelli

  • i was in the 5th grade when i bought this cassette. every song on this cassette is perfect. i still have the cassette.

  • This is real music ...

  • i was born in 1959 and i love iron maiden. eddie rules

  • To understand Iron Maiden, is to understand ones self.

  • I cannot stop listening to this song.

  • maybe the best song maiden has done up the irons

  • Born in '68, ''' caught somewhere in time''''. Now 2011. That's Maiden. Love it!

  • This is one of my faves. I was 13 when this came out. I had heard or seen some Maiden on MTV before this but this was the 1st Maiden album I bought which opened the door to all thier other stuff. This tune has great solos and I feel is one of thier greatest epics.

  • Time is always on my side.

  • Ha Ha, I was just getting into Maiden from the Piece of Mind album when this came out. Opened a whole new world to me as a 16 year old metal fan...This song and Alexander the Great are awesome. Adrian Smith was monumental with the solos here

  • like a friend of mine said we all have our own time machines going back in time is memories.going to the future is our dreams

  • a 100 years from now, archaeologists and scientists are going to think we had the best music. than what they're going to have.

  • @athf11 Yeah, it'll take a little more time to bring archeologists and scientists into the scene... Try perhaps 500 years.

  • let me enlist the gods of metal for you: BLACK SABBATH, IRON MAIDEN, RONNIE JAMES DIO, METALLICA, MEGADETH, SLAYER.

  • @AQWhided Iron Maiden, Testament, Blue Oyster Cult, Amon Amarth, Ensiferum, Wintersun. Fixed.

  • @yahtzeeSnacky Hi Scar!

  • oh hell yes.awsome albume from start to finish.up the irons from the pit in hell.

  • "Somewhere in Time" was ahead of it's time.........

  • wow

  • That intro, those vocals, those riffs, that chorus, those solos ...

It's impossible to choose a favorite part

  • Adrian´s solo is the best metal solo ever!!!!

  • Something about the whole somewhere in time album makes me think I'm in the future, must be the tone.

  • This song and dance of death are their best songs hand down!

  • Lol, then I'd prefer if you didn't listen to them, if you would just say they suck. I can't stand people insulting my favorite songs

  • 30 people can't do math

  • UP THE IRONS !!!! The BEST (or Metal) Maiden album of ALL time!!!!

  • I am a 1996 kid, and Iron Maiden, Meryful Fate, Megadeth, Ozzy, Juda Priest, And Helloween are freaking Epic!!!

  • UP THE IRONS FROM Somewhere in time.....

  • lol at everyone who say they wish they 'd be born on the 80's well i dont see nothing bad about that .but why would u want to be born on the 80s when you at least reach the age of 9 and you were born on 1980 its 1989 so at that age you would begin to understand what is going on.so i think you guys should say i wish i was born in the 70's so i could enjoy what the 80's was i was born on 76 and it took 10 years of my life to discover iron maiden on 1986,i became a fan eversince

  • @bengativo6 LOL, I was kind of thinking the same thing, if they were all born in the 80's then they would be like 5 or 6 and wouldn't be able to enjoy this. Technicalities for the win

  • @DarkTemplarDA i know . you at least had to be a person that was born on the mid 60's uptil the mid 70's to fully apreciate this music on the 80's.and if you were born during the 80's you would still have the 90's as your decade.i feel sorry for the ones born on the 2000's there is nothing good from this point forward.but i think we should apreciate the time we were born at,cuz things happen always for a reason.i wish i was born on the 50's so i could see a lot of the things going on on the 60s

  • @bengativo6 it's all about appreciating what you have, even kids in the 2000's can at least open up and look around for alternative types of music but they usually don't. I hope in a few years music starts to change for the good.

  • @bengativo6 Ah, I'd say there's some good music. Mumford & Sons, for one. They sing with soul, and without autotune

  • @PackOfDarkness mum who? lol im not really intersted on new bands .im an old school type of guy .the typical angsty person against all the new stuff.there is no single thing that i believe i really like .i bet if i take a look in that band i will come back to u and say yes that reallly sucked..

  • @bengativo6 what a mature boy from 1976... :)

  • @selch987i am more than you.since you dont get my comment.lol at you .yeah i want to be born on 1984 so i can really enjoy somewhere in time album,at the time i got introduced to maiden it was at the age of 10 .and i think thats just enough ..i have tons of memories since 1984 and on

  • @bengativo6 i was 9 when this album was out, but i don't get the point i was listening Metallica when i was 7 , what's about 70's or 80's its about music and anyone who was born on 2000's may like it or understand it... that was my point.

  • @selch9876 .....kids younger than 12 cant understand real music.... dont understand the words etc

  • @khav11 hey,i started listening to Iron maiden,helloween and manowar when i was 11

  • @bkr1997 You can listen, doesn't mean you'll understand. Stupid little boys...

  • @bengativo6 Absolutely. I was born in 85 so I didn't find out about this til a little later on when my dad would introduce me to them. However, I have a cousin born in 69/70 who was able to go to this tour. Classic.

  • @bengativo6 I was born in 65,graduated in 83, we were lucky, we fell right in the sweet spot for METAL, bands toured more, and the laws were easier, we partied and went to concerts constantly, last concert I went to, I spent the weekend in the "clink" for crackin a beer after the show. On the way to jail, the punk cop in his late 20's said I'm to old to be going to concerts, all I said was, "What did mommy make you for lunch today".........(The 80's were the shit tho)

  • @IDIOTTSUNAMI you are a person who can tell more exactly what the 80's were.mostly like i could tell what the 90's were too.i remember most of the 80's but as a kid. when you had all the time of the world to play and do whatever you wanted.i really paid little attention.to certain things such as gas prices and some shit like that ,and tons of places my mom and dad used to take me and my brother.but my cousins who were older thn me were into metal, and thats how i became involved. at tht early age

  • @bengativo6 Ive known them since I was like 3, back in '00. My mom parents loved them, especially my mom. First Maiden song I remember hearing is Afraid to Shoot Strangers.. :) 1997. 14 now and still love Iron Maiden one of my favorite bands.

  • lol used to think he was saying gods son will return

  • Maiden is the most original band of metal or all music. there is nothing like them! they have their own style, sound, and the best artwork!

  • Dracula: Where is my coat?

    Van: Coat, Somewhere in time..

  • shit this song rock`s love it

  • a terminator would bow to this album, Up thee irons from Slovenia

  • Magique!

  • i cant stop listen to maidens...they're my life now!

thumbs up if you feel like this too!

  • This song has to be based on Doctor Who.

  • I still remember these years, this album in particular was way ahead of its time

  • @Sivazh

    Can't tell if trolling....

  • Voice sounds like he just had his balls cut off. Fucking awful. Bring in Blaze!

  • @sivazh I respect your comment, although I like them both, but Blaze is the GOD!!!

  • @sivazh *replys over-exaggerating about your comment*

  • @sivazh ahahah blaze can't sing song like this he has a lower voice so he sings on lower tones

  • @sivazh fuck you no offense but take it as a compliment. may someone else offend you ..

  • listen they or he ' don't just make music ... there is more

  • Most epic metal intro ever...

  • Heh, it's difficult to listen to the last song on shuffle when you have hundreds of Iron Maiden songs -.-

  • I remember playing this song very quietly on my Panasonic late at night, in the early '90s. My mom bought me this tape when I was 5 years old. It was right after the fall of communist East Block when foreign cargo suddenly rushed into our country. "Somewhere in time" record is exactly as old as me, but back then I thought it's new. Shit, the song has ended - got to click "play" again...

  • Legend has it that if you play this song on drums, bass,or guitar you will travel time. Thought the song must be played correctly with headbanging.

    :=0

  • QUE GRUPAZO VIVAN LOS MAIDEN

  • @capiwan Claro

  • im somewhere in time but not sure when?

  • Comment removed

  • This album is 25 years old today!!!!!

  • 46 idiots were caught in time

  • the best Maiden album? probably

  • 45 fricking assholes get the hell off this song fuckers

  • So wish i was born in the 80's...

  • @gas6460 I don't, even though I love older metal, but goddamn am I jealous of the prices of concert tickets back then!!!

  • @gas6460 you still would have been way too young as this album came out in 86 70s would have been the best to live with metallica and maiden although metallica is more of late 80s and early 90s

  • @khav11 I also love metallica!

  • @gas6460 Beautiful band are they not?

  • @gas6460 Then you wouldn't have youtube anytime anywhere to hear this. ;)

  • @gas6460 Actually I believe you mean you grew up or lived in the 80's. If you were born than, you wouldn't really experience anything, you'd be stuck in the shitty 90's.

  • @ThePatrickEllis SHITTY 90s? The 90's had some pretty fucking amazing cartoons, good sir. Batman: The Animated Series and Gargoyles to name a couple. But then there were those years we had to endure without Bruce in Maiden. Sad times.

  • Best song of any gender of all times.

  • this track is mega

  • Bruce Dickinson is not human , no mere mortals can sing like that

  • @IDrocaI2 amen

  • GOOSE BUMPS OF METAL

  • 0:00 TO 0:58 EPIC !!!

  • True nobody can denie that this song rocks with no equal! But for me the fave part was from 0:00 until 7:29! Anyone else agrees?

  • @GolliwoggMusic Does Golliwogg approve of me hitting him in the face? (while playing music)

  • Golliwogg APPROVES of this song.

  • In Soviet Russia, Time Gets Caught Somewhere in You!

  • Fuck, the intro is so epic.

  • up teh irons from kranium

  • Awesome!

    Up The Irons

  • Thumbs up if you're caught somewhere in time, and don't know what year you're listening to this song in!!!

  • In my opinion this is their only album without a weak track. All eight tracks are brilliant. All the rest of their albums have a song which isn't up to their standard (Number of the Beast has Invaders, Powerslave has The Duellists, Piece of Mind has Sun and Steel, etc)

But SIT has none of those, they are all brilliant. Like Rubber Soul by The Beatles and A Trick of the Tail by Genesis - flawless album, no improvement needed.

  • @ChocolateHoneycomb heaven can wait was not as good as the others.....

  • @khav11 Heaven can Wait is the best song on it.
