Amazing. Beautiful. Is it just the 'few' of us that can truly appreciate this sort of thing? Or has the word not spread well enough? There is so much more to everything than what most people know. I hope people can appreciate this art, this sort of music. If not it's going to make my life very difficult. No one will appreciate the things I do or the things I love....
and so beautiful... i knew sigur ros and bjork, now i know a thrid very good band from island. Their music makes me feel good in comparison with some others tasteless bands
Excellent, Jason. I'm studing cinema now, and I'm about to make a documentary film about the green areas of my hometown, São Paulo, and it's pretty clear to me that I'll use Múm for the soundtrack. So, this is why I'm curious: did you shoot all that or did you get old films and simply edited them? If you did shot, what equipment you used? I hope you don't mind talking a little bit about it. I really liked it.
This footage was shot by my father and grandmother during the 60's and 70's with an Keystone "Riviera K40" that takes an 8mm magazine. Although I have not found any magazines in production that fit the camera. So good luck.
@JasonAndrewWillford a fellow countryman just reminded me in the comments bellow about the results of my version. I never showed'em to you. It's been three years, I was taking my first steps, so it's not looking very good. Anyways, if you'd like to see it, search for "Verde no Cinza". I'm sorry I can't post the link here. The "(parte 1 de 2)" is mostly a videoclip for "Island of Children's Children".
