this was probably the stupidest stage gauntlet has ever unleashed on the public....not only is it nearly impossible (because of the reality that one miss means game over) but also that its practically at the end of the level so its a waste of time if you dont get it...i've tried this thing over 10 times in a day and i just cant get it >:(

basicly the cloud is a moving platform and it is hard to judge where the coins will be when you go, i was in a position to collect a coin but i just flew past because i didn't position myself correctly. not only are the coins hard to get you also have to be fast thinking... trust me its hard, and then to have to go through the eintire stage again to get to the level makes it hell in disguse of heven

Well, I just started playing Gauntlet again lately, and I could never unlock the Unicorn before.

1st try - 24/25 coins

2nd try - 23/25...

3rd try - 24/25...

4th try - Got it.

This video helped, just had to mimic where you moved. (Damn fifth (sixth?) coin always got me.)

I personally think that those "bonus characters" are garbage... Ok, their start stats are a bit higher, but there's no other special effect about them (they look like animal familiars of the main characters and will never change appearnce through leveling)....

when i got it resently i was scared remembering how i never got it before

but i was lucky with one try

i already had madusa, minotur,and falconess

also difficulty is changed threw options under start just before new or load

then game options then difficulty settings

if you play with other people you can change the setting under game multiplayer in game options for shooting partner

Yay! You got it! For some strange reason, I got it on my first try, and I only play on EASY! Well, I think...When does it ask you about changing the difficulty? I have, after a year or so of playing, I got all of the characters, even Sumner!

I always like to play Gauntlet Legends and Gauntlet Dark Legacy on the hardest difficulty setting.

Gauntlet Legends (PS1) has no difficulty settings to choose from IIRC. What you see is what you get.

Gauntlet Legends (DC) has Very Hard as the hardest setting.

Gauntlet Dark Legacy has Hard as the hardest setting.

I always disclose what difficulty I play on when it applies, even if there are no enemies being confronted in the video.
