I agree with that top comment guy. The kid has talent, no doubts about that, but you can hear the difference. There is no bass guitar in here which works against the cover overall too.

I think he needs to work on the legato side of his playing. The bending could use some more work. Maybe get more control on his overall playing too. When he speeds up he trys to attack it too much, rather than approaching the speedy parts in a clamer fashion. That results in goofs. Like at around 2:10

Those spouting off about no emotion need to realize that you have to get the basic vernaculars down before you jump the hurdle of emotional playing. Don't get me wrong, you're an awesome guitar player (I can't even get close to this attempt myself), but it seems as Steve Vais genius still isn't at your level (at least now when you recorded this...).
