damn this wl is a noob,he traped u and then he is supose to spam u till deadth,hes a noob,and warlocks in epic 4 were weak,in epic6 like today he could kill u 15 times :P

It's possible to avoid traps, but it requires the use of a shield. A soldier can do either 1 of 2 methods:

1. Shield Charge + Divine Crash + Shield Strike

2. Shield Charge alone... click where you want to go as your char is charging. This will cause them to "slide" to that spot once the hit lands. (Knights can use this method, too.)

The timing on both methods is hard. Even if you get it right, it's still not 100%, but when it works, it's a thing of beauty and usually GG after. :D

best way to beat a lock is just range attack them.

soldier has like.. judgment buster, divine flash, divine flare, judgment of the goddess.

each one does about 800-1000 damage each

just light speed away from the lock at the start, they set the traps at their feet. use your range skills, then run away again (heal if needed)

if the lock runs off the spot of the traps - divine crash and stun lock = win ;)

Bad skill set up on hotbar for Soldier.

lol I love the description: "Only way to win is to activate the trap...". You do know that a skilled WL will never let you out of the trap combo right? lol Once you get caught you die, thats just the end of it, fact is this WL needs more practice. The way to beat a WL is to just not activate the trap.

stun the wl while you are affected by trap and you skip the most dmg :P

lol Thats irrelevant, a good WL won't let you out of the combo anyway, the stun just means the WL has to shoot of 5 more spams than they would otherwise. The best thing to do is NOT hit the trap, stun them, then just spam. I doubt many WL's could survive a good E5.2 soldier spam.

Not bad...

You should get some hunter armor and a shield. Hunter armor would give you a little more mdef AND +10 move spd and shield would give you 2 more stuns - shield charge and shield strike.

I have hunter armor. But i'd say its unfair to use different armors and stuff vs different classes.

meh.... i wouldn't call it unfair, i'd just call it being versatile. For instance, the warlock could've also used a 1h staff and shield to try and block some of the dmg.

"more skill," is using a shield and hunter armor vs mages. switch to shield in begininng of duel, charge them (insta stun) but don't get too happy with locks/archers. one rule against them is keep an eye out when they lay traps or else your just rushing in to get owned.
