You're not doing anything wrong, the pedal is defective, you can either have somebody who works with guitar gear or electronics check it out, or return it. Mind you, give it thought, I don't think you'll be able to return it if you give it to someone to try and fix it and later on it still doesn't work. Did you try it before buying it?

BTW I have a Crybaby classic with the Fasel inductor and it's flawless.

i believe the slash wah also has a fasel indicator and its not the pedal. that is just the very tip of the range there is a volume drop natural and the mids treble and bass and shifted so i dont think its the pedal

it really depends on how "massive" the drop in volume is

to etfsz: the wah will still work, but you might wanna consider getting a distortion pedal like a tube screamer or maybe an effects pedal before you get a wah. Still, you could get em in any order and itd sound good with just a wah

@uvais147 oh thats cause thats how the pedall works i know what u mean, i had the problem too u have to balance the volume of the pedal with that of the guitar and amp so in other words make the guitar and amp loud and the pedal slighly lower but it dont get that u have to set the wah pedal in neutral, (halfway to hell but not all the way down)

i have a SW-95 but i really like the 95Q i mean it just sounds beatiful and it has an awesome slash tone especially with the volume boost (which is the exact same Slash uses) i think i might return my Slash wah

get the 95Q because the distortion circuit is kinda a waste in the SW-95 so why not just get the 95Q and get 2 helpful things

hiya Pal, Could you let me know how you set your pedal up with your amp, ive never used one before but got one from my brother and cant seem to get it to work.

I put a cable from my amp to the pedal and then one from the pedal to guitar and when the blue LED comes on it just cuts the signal and i cant hear anything...have i done something wrong?

Make sure you have the cables in the right jacks, the jacks are labeled on both the top and bottom of the pedal, so the jack labeled guitar would be where the cable coming from the guitar should go. If that doesn't work, make sure that the cables themselves aren't shot. Hope this helps

its when you turned on the wah you hear the sound "CLICK" right? and when you back and forth it do you hear a sound that clicking on the knob on the wah? coz mine it has and it is very disturbing.

mine's red too. you just cant really see it in the video cuz of the bad quality. and im pretty sure you can use the disto. with the wah off. give it a try

do you leave your cables plugged into it? cuz the batteries waste when theres a cable in the input jack even if its off. unhook the cable from it and it shouldnt waste batteries

haha yeah im definently not rich. got the strat and the marshall for 300 bucks from one of my mom's friends (i dont know why she would sell both for so cheap :P). saved probably $1500 there. and i bought the wah for half price on amazon with birthday money.

uh i think you can use it as just a standalone distortion pedal. i think thats what your asking at least haha. and it runs on 2 9-volt batteries, or you can buy a seperate plug, but it gets sorta tedious so id run it on batteries. uh i hope that helps haha

uh probably a little of both, the slash wah has its own distortion circuit in it and i turned it on during the video (the red light)so yeah. i had the treble pretty high too

Well thanks for not flipping out, when I left my first comment. Just bear that in mind, when your trying out a pedal pick a shit guitar because if the pedal sounds good with a shit guitar it will sound good with anything. And make sure the amp is clean and the eq at halfway. That way we can make sure its just the pedals we hear and not the amp or anything.
