I mean I see what you did there, and It's fine and I was wrong to try and condemn you. I just often feel like people are forgetting the massive potential of videogames. Tis ultimate field of dreams is gaming. You can make genres out of nowhere like The Sims. You probably know all this, but where I'm coming from is im saddened by how content everyone is with making send-ups and sequels. Seems like if the devs were braver and innovated more, they'd be more proud and pleased with the end result.

I understand your point, and thank you for replying. I was perhaps a little short in my comment. I get what you're saying, the game isn't very original at all. It's a standard platformer that is incredibly short, for now. Maybe one day I'll expand on it, and make it into something a lot grander and more complex. Thank you for your comments.

I felt all complacent coz i wanted to see something really innovative (Yours is more of a sendup aint it?) and wanted a game that looked good for me. I wanted a lot, looking back.

Gd luck with the game anyway. Now I understand where you're coming from (I.E. not trying to contribute something Yahtzee is after) I can see it makes quite the statement, and there is a lot in those classic mechanics to be celebrated.

Haha, I have nothing to feel ashamed about. The second level got a complete overhaul when I heard about the contest rules. The game plays, and looks, completely differently. This video was based on an incredibly old version of the game. Thanks for pointing me towards the article though - I hadn't read that one yet.
