@azascan well christians aren't the only ones who are using this tactic of bible as a revalation to many prophecies. i've encountered countless muslims who make the same claims about the koran as being this grand book of cutting edge knowledge. but it seems to me when ever science makes a great discovery, somehow it suddenly appears in all the holy books. muslims tell me koran revealed 1400 ago what a month old embryo looks like and which science finally in the 21st century are finding out.
muslims say an embryo looks like a leech like creature and which now in the present times we can c through sonograms. so i replied simply by saying how come the koran isn't in the forefront of science and technology? muslim scientists should be the leading scholars on many fields by now, so how come the muslim world is so far back? basically im trying to show them that using a thick book anyone can take a piece of scientific knowledge and relate to some stupid verse, its called rationalization.
