This track is fucking brutal, had it on repeat and enjoying every fucking second.

the drum structure in this track changes frequently making for a much more interesting and dynamic track. Overall, i am impressed, particularly for the way this is engineered. If you listen very carefully you can hear the hinge movement on the kick drum for instance. Whoever did the recording of this track knew what they were doing.

I'm not jumping on the hate bandwagon as I read in another response but I do have to agree with some people that this game is a bit over hyped and given too much credit at times. It's a great game with a decent story but many of my other friends who have gone through the whole series don't understand why it's given so much credit. Personally I think FF 6 and 8 were way better than 7 but that's just me.

On topic though...I think this is a kick ass Remix and Mako Reactor is one of my fav tracks.

i was playing the game earlier, saw this in my recommended and died, i thought final fantasy 7 was a dead game seeing how so many people hate on it, well, haters gonna hate, fanatics gonna spazz :D cause you know you're nerdy if you go watch an Avalanche game in cosplay :D

@tomodakisama They're all generally the same. People hate on FF7 because it's popular; no other reason. What people claim to hate--like characters, fans or storyline--is the same exact kind of thing you'll encounter in any of the other less popular Final Fantasy games. Everybody loved this game to death when it came out. It's only after it became so popular when people began jumping on the FF7 hate bandwagon to attempt to be cool and fit in.

@tomodakisama 'Twas. People's supposed main gripe with it is the story (for some reason). AN EVIL VILLAIN AMASSES MAGICAL POWER AND TRIES TO DESTROY/TAKE OVER THE EARTH! What a stupid plot, that's not in any of the other Final Fantasies, right?

@Ironfungus To bad people don't understand it's not just the over arching plot but how it's presented that is important. The plot is important but it's nothing with out the characters to power it and bring it to life. :) that's one of the things that makes FFVII so great. The life the characters bring into the game and the story. I mean lets admit it. It's virtually impossible to find a plot that hasn't been used before. It just needs to be presented in a new and inspiring way. That is FFVII

And not to get into the metaphysical ramifications of best vs. worst, but it's all purely opinion and conjecture. Everybody mistakenly says it's good when they mean that they like it. The opposite is true. When somebody simply doesn't like it, they claim it to be outright bad.

So the most accurate statement is, "Final Fantasy VII is the most popular Final Fantasy, ever."

I Like to imagine this being a Reactor theme AFTER it blows up. At that point things are less creepy and more frantic, which this song feels more like.

Its really a good song, just not the "original" feel of a Mako Reactor.

One of our colleague reported mako reactor meltdown in the area of Nibelheim. Firefighters and Shin-Ra disaster prevention squad got the the scene immediately, but heavy mako eruptions made the reactor itself inapproachable. We have reports about various anomalies in the air, approximately 100 nervous breakdowns in town and other diseases spreading as the core and mako tank of the reactor continues leaking. The Shin-Ra declared total loss compensation for the damage caused.
