@grafophone . i have an outrigger for it but it is too simple to not have them. it was blowing 15mph that day and the boat is very stable. you dont even have to switch sides. however in the 2ft white caps the boat did get some water in it. this boat is too easy to sail.
@rch701 Glad to read that. I never go without outriggers. Maybe one day, sunny day, I'll try to go without outriggers. However, I often go camping, thus I bring gears, food, camera camcorder etc, etc... I realy don't take risk to capsize. Sailing F5 with reef is a charm.
Nice canoe, easy tacks. Did you consider using outriggers for better stability and fun.
