Nice video but I wish people would stop with the Dragonball thing. First of all the saiyans are not asian they are saiyans. Second they don't to look asian, just look at Roshi.
@ManicRaider what about superman? i'm pretty sure hes an alien too. Oh and they do look asian, especially gohan and his attire, dont forget chi chi. You cant go any more asian than chichi.

if only hollywood enables us to import foreign asian stars such as Jaejoong, Bi rain, taemin shinee, Takeshi Kaneshiro, Mike he, basically any hot tall korean, chinese model, actor, music artist to come over here and give them a chance. Then maybe, just maybe our image would get better
who gives a shit man because we dont really try that hard most asians decide to go college to study in law or medical field. teachers doctors and lawyers. depends on generation and background dude. im asian american im not all book smart i barely graduated colege in art. it just depends dude ive done auditions and i got opportunites for plays any1 can do it dude race doesnt count
How about changing the name of your production company before going on changing the bigger US film industry? I mean, "Take Out Entertainment"? "Take out", really? How can you talk about changing Hollywood's misrepresentation of asian americans when you are using a term that often times misrepresents and stereotypes asian americans.
Also, there needs to be more asian american actors who are better at dramatic acting, I mean, really good at it.

Who cares about stereotypes. I think alot of asian stereotypes are funny. If you want a lead role go get it! Work at it, you cant expect to get Brad Pitt type roles acting like a fucking geek. BE A MAN!
True, true, but Hollywood and audiences/viewers like yourself has not accept the fact that Asians actor can play the masculine roles, and are not given the opportunity to play them without the stereotypical background. In other words they try but are denied. Which is why audiences and US films need to change their ways. It's going to be a while to see that.
I think it is going to be a while. But what im trying to say is that we should have more Asian filmmakers, producers, writers, etc creating lead roles for Asians. I talking about American born Asians. A lot of the Asian-American movies made are bad...for example..Better Luck Tommorow. If we can get an Asian Oliver Stone type or whatever...and giving the lead parts to fellow asians that where it starts.
As a 1/4 Yamato Man with VERY thin eyes on such a big, blond, goateed bod. does it ever seem like all the shit ordinary "nice" white guys wish they could be they end up projecting on to Asian American Men. Like the Martial Arts and Math/Science skill just 'cause its like movie stars/rockstars no shit its un-realistic, whereas what I mentioned probably seems attainable, but just "out of reach". Like they wanna be everything "we" are on the inside, xcept look like us.
@TakeOutEntertainment How can asian males play masculine roles? They have high pitched voices, almost no facial hair (a trait attributed to masculanity), small hands (like a 14 year old boy's), and mostly bones and no muslce (unless they take steroids off course), and most of all, short stature. Now, can this realy protect the hot girls as they have in the James Bond films. Wake Up!!!
Guys, I think the best way to deal with hollywood stereotype is to email Obama, tell him that you are not happy about this overwhelm stereotype, only he has the power to make a difference.
Japan should make the real DB movie with chinese actors also :D in kamen rider Faiz movie one chinese actor was a cast as one of the rider how good is tat and he is well known too not some random actor :)
At the start, it was a little funny when Jerry kept stepping in front of the F in F-lushing.
Thankfully, the lady @ 4:16 said Ming Na. I said, "Yes!"
I honestly think she was one of three that had a high amount of clarity in the things she said.
White people playing asian roles is pretty much a ("white-washed") caricature (ref. to comment @ 8:00), but no where as extreme as blackface. I think it is a part of the A.A.A.O.P. (Asian-"Americanized" Assimilation Ostracism Program or Process).

But this is a pretty good video. I feel it provides a good insight on what Asian Americans think today, different opinions on different subjects of the media. Awesome.

These motherfuckers don't even watch movies, do they? Cuz if they did, they would know that
1. Asians ARE showcased for their "asian-ness". Rarely is it seen of asian men to be normal or heroic.
2. Harold and Kumar was a movie to go against the stereotypes, you idiot. How many Harold and Kumar movies are there?
3. I have yet to see a t.v. show or movie where asians are the "model minority". Shows about college have practically zero asian cast members.
