How ironic that the programme featured in this clip, was about the seven deadly sins - the "person" dressed in red next to John Stonehouse is Gary Glitter!
My uncle was in the studio audience for the first episode of Sin on Saturday (the guy with the beard at 4.40). I once asked him about it and he said the whole thing was completely awful, but hugely entertaining because of that.
I remember seeing hog, but no one in my circle of friends remembered it, i was really young at the time 10 or 11 maybe, and probably shouldnt have seen it,but i recall the acid in the face scene,i dont know where my parents were, they may well have fallen asleep in front of the tv,and were unaware i had crepped down to watch tv

Big Breadwinner Hog has never been repeated, but is now available on DVD alongside another forgotten British Gangster Series: Spindoe.
