My favorite singer, brings me to tears often -- tears of joy, tears of sorrow, tears of everything. I've seen her in concert how many times now .... four, I think. I can't wait to make it five, six, seven. Such an under-appreciated talent. Every one of her albums is must-hear, start to finish (well, maybe those few seconds when her parents sing along with her on "Impossible Dream" could be cut, but it's just a few seconds...).
Patty Griffin is such a treasure! Her voice is almost unimaginably beautiful. She's a mighty fine songwriter, too. This is another one smacked out of the ballpark!

I have always hated when people say this in the comments section but I have to say it. I cannot believe this only has 10,000 hits. This is amazing music which she performs with perfection. What is so sad is that covers of this song have 5 times that many views and her version just can't be touched. Not by a long shot. I don't know a great deal about her but does she tend to stay out of the public eye and work more on the song writing end of the biz? She is one very talented human being!
