  • It seems like there is a third part... Is there?

  • Not once did Dr Paul mention insurance Gupta you schmuck.

  • Sad, the guy on the left blatantly said that he couldn't imagine freedom. So many people are so ingrained with government thought, that they can't even imagine what a free world would be like. All they see is that with out government there would be terror and chaos in the streets. Truly sad.

  • Why does everyone completely misinterpret ron pauls words?? WTF? I'm a moron compared to some of these educated types and I can at least understand what he is saying.. JEEZZZ...

  • This debate has a simple answer. Do what Jesus would do, give to the poor!

  • @maphitha1 Yeah that sounds great, but the problem is that we don't have enough money to start a quality health care. We need to take care of the debt, and end inflation and our invasive foreign policy so that we have the money to do exactly what obama wants. But obama is spending money on this agenda. Were not gaining anything. Its almost like giving a 14 year old a credit card. Ur gonna get fucked in the end.

  • @maphitha1 Give to the poor. That's not a bad idea. Though you are misinterpreting everything. Jesus never said steal from those that have and give to those with out. That is truly what the debate is about. It's about government stealing from one group and giving to another. And that isn't something Jesus would do.

  • Ron Paul, right again.

  • every systems seem to be flawed in America

  • Ron paul wasn't talking about "the goodness of man", he was talking about how we could save trillions and it would mean there would be more care here at home. You don't have to rely on the goodness of man today to get care, you get it at a hospital where people with carreers take care of you. The whole point of having a good economy is so that there would be more hospitals and more places to recieve care. That has !nothing! to do with "the goodness of man".

  • "Can't leave it to the goodness of man", Gupta?

Leave it to the goodness of government i guess. Right?

    What a tool.

  • what if there was a world with no money wow problems around the world would be solved there would be no one above no one bums on the street would get up n be equal to u money is the only thing making degrating money is the root of all evil money is how u control others GET RID OF IT!!!

  • Totally agree. If the human race is ever going to evolve further, then we MUST eliminate wealth.

  • I think you got it confused ... certain "socialist" governments were PUT in place by the CIA after they have eliminated the democratically-elected leader there. The corporatism that "rapes" America is doing far worse to the citizens of these so called socialist countries.

It is not the ideology of Capitalism or Socialism. It's slowly turning into Global Fascism where gov't around the world are working with international companies and bankers (The Big Boys Club) to exploit the rest of us.

  • First off, I love Larry King and this was a pretty good civil discussion. Secondly, WHAT THE CRAP!? Yes, let's remove the freedom to be charitable from the people and yoke them with inflation and taxes. This GOOD man who exercises his freedom to be charitable is hindered by government. HELLO!!?!?! You can tell this idea is rotten when thousands of voices raise in support of the well being of their countrymen and then relinquish their freedom to a bureaucracy. Gutless, lazy, mindless, doomed.

  • These fuckers won't stop attacking Ron Paul.

  • disagreeing is not attacking. At the end of the day, we all know Paul is right

  • Did you even watch the video?

  • yeah, they are not "attacking" they are disagreeing with what he says, and both you and I know they are wrong.

  • Wow since I am receiving thumbs down from folks who barely have education nor know about universal health care is really thrilling....

All the republicans and yes even some democrats get money from insurance companies, via sponsor for the compaign, thus they talk and vote against anything that would eliminate them.

Ron Paul? Pharma, BCBS in Texas.

Sorry But I am one of those folks who does the same thing the asian doctor does,so your opinion and idea is pathetic

  • Dont fool yourself into thinking that it's liberals vs. conservatives cause they are truly both the same.

We get screwed over by liberals because they increase the welfare state, and we get screwed over by conservatives because they increase the military budget.

Together they all support the bankers who make the profit from this at the end of the day.

  • Well said.

  • @melchert6 I totally agree.

  • @melchert6 I think you are really close on your diagnosis. However I think it's more on the lines of Democrats and Republicans are supporting the bankers.

  • @melchert6 They both increase both budgets.. conservatives and liberals are fundamentally different because theyre philosophies.. youre talking about republicans and democrats, its an issue of misrepresentation of parties, not ideology.

  • These two buffoons denigrating the goodness of man in charity is one of the reasons why I hate modern Liberalism.

The modern Liberal wants to solve many of the same problems that a Conservative does, yet they have a fundamental lack of hope in the goodness of man, which is why they turn to the use of force (government) for a solution. For that matter, they also demonstrate their laziness in doing so, as they could otherwise spend their time and effort on a social movement to bring a solution.

  • if this debate was on fox, there would be so much yelling.lol

  • what Paul said was exactly what I would have said. if 1/3 of peoples' money wasn't taken from them, there would be tons of people giving freely of their own benevolence, and not just to get tax breaks from the gov't (since that wouldn't be necessary).

this was a good and respectful debate, nonetheless.

  • great point by this man about doctors and borders. great point.

  • The dupe on the left is a fool. The free clinic in LA just shows how the parasites will show up and flood the system when socialist money is backing the system instead of their own.

We simply do not have a free market in this country. We have not had one for about 100 years.

  • Got any evidence for your idiotic assertion? Of course not, you're just spreading bald-faced lies.

  • Excuse me,evidence for what? that cnn is sponsored and paid by insurance companie and drug companies? thats a fact. That MOST republican congressmen got and received money from insurance companies, for compaigns etc...in order to defend them and vote against any reform that would elimnate them?. . .

The Asian doc,is the only on that segment who is a private citizen doc, with no ties to any insurance corporation, thus he is able to tell the truth. I am not lying, its a fact, not an opinion!

  • So by your lack of providing such, you have no evidence that Ron Paul is a paid shill. Exactly what I thought.

  • Ron Paul's family didn't take student loans for college. Ron Paul returns a portion of his salary to the treasury every year.

  • Name two insurance companies.... actually, just name ONE insurance company, that Ron Paul directly benifits from. Being on CNN dosen't mean shit about the person interviewed. So..... back up your bullshit.

  • No joke. If Europe had to pay for its own damn defense against the USSR, they never would have been able to afford their socialist idiocy.

  • Haha apparently Dr. Gupta thinks the goodness of man doesn't live up to the goodness of the Government. HAHAHAHAHAHA

  • You see, there is too much confusion. And there is a simple (or complex if you want) reason for this. When you have big government, and huge taxation (and inflation due to printing money out of thin air, which is another form of taxation without legislation), hen you get all sorts of people and organizations who line up to get this money from he government. Some of those believe in their cause, and most of them are here for free government hand out. hey will say anything to get their hands on it

  • ..It's all about the money...to bad Ron Paul was the only guy on the panel that understood that.

  • agreed

  • ..Doctors in the U.S. make 10 times that of either the U.K. or Canada. Very few would be interested in being government employees at 80k a year.

  • hybrid no private I meant to say.

Addendum: Not logical either for people to judge a free market system using the current statist model.

  • Where is this notion coming from that American healthcare is private? It's a weird, mostly government private with back up by belligerent legal framework (proper being the necessity for competition to thrive as Hayek said). Those who show their indignation at corporations might want to know that they're extensions of the state. Either way, make a thread on the mises forum if you want to engage in educational dialogue aboutt his matter.

  • so much noise...

  • ron paul could do much better in this debate...he needs to talk about government regulations like hmo act of 1973 and state we should repeal those and let the free market work..I think he drank a big whiskey drink before this debate

  • when does he ever say anything about the war

  • also, the constitution was not a perfect document. it is a living document, not stagnated over time, but flexible enough to be amended and interpreted as its context changes with changes in society. it is not an absolute. the framers did not believe it was an absolute document people akin the Bible as an absolute word of God. the original constitution permitted slavery and treated colored as 3/5ths of a person.

  • No, it didn't. Stop making up things. There is nothing in the constitution permitting such things.

  • the constitution formed a government. yes its imperfect, but the framers of the constitution framed it as a stronger central government as opposed to the articles of confederation because a country with free confederated states would not survive so your notion of states rights and freedom are an old an broken notion that the framers of the constitution actually already rejected.

  • everyone would have a job at a walmart, make 8 dollars an hour and have no health care or education. its called the feedback effect. be careful what u wish for. the free market, organized chaos and anarchy are all small steps from each other.

  • i agree with ron paul. we should close the public school system, the fed, police, fire, public hospitals and the military. we should let everyone run around like idiots, and let private companies like bechtel, haliburton, united health care, blue cross, and walmart run the country since they are private entities.

  • Government powers attract corruption! Government power doesn't go away in the US either. It just stacks up.

Also, the US government has been managing the health care system for 40 years now. Government injects printed money and regulation which inflates the costs of EVERYTHING.

We are on the road to facism in this country. But people are beginning to wake up.

  • Ron Paul never says anything even close to that ever. Grow up... in a few years you might just be accepted back into the adult's conversation.

  • The military is the only thing you mentioned that should be controlled by the Federal Government. The rest, excluding the Fed, should all be controlled by local and state government. You said the framers wanted a strong centralized government, and I was wondering how on earth you could draw such a conclusion when clearly the idea was to give the states power and let them compete between themselves. The state with the best infrastructure would draw the best businesses and therefore people and money

  • Govt. managed HC plan in Britain led expansion of their system such that it is now the 3rd largset employer (after Chinese army and Indian Railways). Any talk about change to remove inefficiencies leads to talks about loss of livelihood/jobs. I DONT want to link quality of HC with loss of livehood.

U cannot provide the best since that may involve laying off inefficient departments. A double whammy! Thats downright immoral.

  • The number of innovations and breakthroughs that has come from market controlled health-care far outweighs than that has come state-controlled ones. The govt. controlled health-care programs always end up squeezing the private programs by having them deficit-financed/subsidized in the first few years and thus kill all competition. The best example is that of the govt.-managed British health-care system.

  • Obama clearly mentioned that he either will introduce new taxes or get the money from other avenues for any universal plan. Americans pay enough in taxes, how an added tax can help?

The govt. managed programs like Medicare, etc have proven to be financially not sustainable. Given this and the track-record of govt. performance of managing health-care for the last 40+ years, how can the govt. role be promoted to handle health-care for all Americans?

    RP is totaly right here!

  • He's not proposing a universal plan.

  • Plesae read the bill very carefully ... It says "To provide affordable, quality health care for all Americans

and .." in the title itself. If "for all Americans" does not mean universal plan for America , not sure what else that means.

  • It's an OPTION....it's not forced in anyway.

    For all Americans that....

    1) Need help with obtaining affordable health insurance

    2) Qualify to be covered by the plan. Just like Medicare and Medicaid...not everyone is eligible.

  • "OPTION"? Hmm... lets see

The folks who will be paying (i.e. earning 250K+) will actually not be getting it ... why should they pay then?

Folks who pay are actually PAY are more of a partcipant then who just receive the benefits! Without those payers there will not be an "option". Participation means receiving and GIVING/PAYING!

Can there be any more inequitable plan that deprives the very ppl who will PAY fot it?

BTW, Medicare, Medicaid, Veteran HC and all govt plans are BROKE!

  • I wasn't for the war in Iraq, but I sure payed for it. My money was used to kill Iraqi civilians. I couldn't do a damn thing about.

Those who can afford to be taxed by one or two percent more (OMG WHAT A TRAVESTY! You're still rich!) will be helping their fellow citizens and saving lives.

And the reason why medicare, medicaid, etc. are going broke is mismanagement of funds. Spending 300 - 500 billion on subsidies for insurance companies doesn't help. That's why REFORM is needed!

  • You choose to be helpless ...I don't! I am making myself heard very loud and clear! And it is working!

The rich ONLY don't get "taxed by 1 or 2 % more" for something that they know will not really help. They are rich for a reason!

    BETTER options:

    1) Allow ppl buy insurance across state lines

    2) Tax benefits for doctors serving the needy

    3) Stop insurance comps to lobby Congress

    4) Reduce war spending and use the money here on HC

  • To continue ...

    5) watch?v=d8hAZUi4BgI

... talks about state mandate that adds unnecessary premiums cost on HC insurances

    6)

  • there's proposed legislation to make it a crime to not have health care. This forces people to take the "optional" government option. Government sponsored option is going to drive the private sector out of business, eventually leading to almost entirely government run health system.

  • Ron Paul is right; government always fuck everything up

  • I would rate Ron Paul right up there with King Solomons Knowledge!

  • lol, bloody dimwitt, the corporations robbed everything from you, look at the national debt, and you wnat to give the corporations now unlimited power....

    FOOLS!

  • Congressman/Dr Ron Paul=Great Man who is 1000% RIGHT here ( AS USUAL)

These 2 other FFFUCKIN BALLOONHEADS are both IGNORANT and are BOUGHT AND PAID FOR to come on this show and ignore anything RP says and just spew the Bogus BS of the NWO! It's the Globalists at work again. BUT IT WONT WORK> Nobody who is smart is gonna take either of those 2 MORONS word over Ron Paul whos been there and knows WTF he's talkin about!

  • Asian dude is a jackass

  • If you think Ron Paul is a socialist you don't know what one is.

  • How can corporations take care of "health care" while their entire focus are based on profit?.. scary.

  • The richest country in the world and we can't figure this shit out, sad and pathetic.

THREE MAIN PROBLEM:The two-party system, military industrial complex and corporate lobbyists hold on congress, and War.

  • Couldn't agree with this title heading even more.I'd love to see much of this money used for war be spent on here on thing such as a better health care system and our education system as well. Theres really no good reason to be in the role of being worlds police, its just draining this country doing so.I know peple wanna cite terrorism as being a good reason but look, the second someone decided it was a great idea to start putting bases in other peoples country was when we made ourselves the enemy

  • You can try to deflect Mawlijilo0 but it wont change the fact that your an asshole. That being said, Im done now, I have more important things to do than have a battle of wits with an unarmed person. Bye

  • Considering you can't even use the correct form of ''you're'' I'm just going to assume you're 14, and failed 5th grade English. Your argument is now forever irrelevant.

  • Sure Mawlijilo0.

Go to the emergency room for Cancer.

Oops, sorry is too late. The cancer has spread.

  • Heres my impression of Ron Paul and his idiot followers, The worlds problems are from inflation its all inflation and govenrment, the magic cure is free market free market kookoo

  • LOL. You are an idiot. You obviously must not understand how money works and what inflation really does to an economy. Yes government gave control of money to the Fed Res. they create inflation which is why if your money is in a savings account right now, you are actually losing it. It's why the price of everything goes up while your salary doesn't. Yes, that effects healthcare. If there was no inflation and teh gov't had control of money (which they don't), many problems would be gone.

  • DUDE!!! I've been trying to tell people that same thing for years!! If the government printed it's own money then inflation and national debt wouldn't exist. It's been done before. Andrew Jackson did it...and it was how we funded the majority of the civil war. It's more complicated than that but still...you speak the truth!!

  • "The 9/11 firemen should did a great job /sarcasm"

Wow. You should go tell your local firemen that.

Ridicule government run police all you want, but private police/security forces get caught in the same kind of controversy and are far fewer.

"hates rich pampered people because they actually work unlike you"

The majority of the wealth in this country is inherited so most wealth was not, in fact, worked for. There are, however, 10s of millions of Americans who work quite hard for little.

  • Inherited? My God, I really don't think I should be arguing with you. Haha, I'm sorry to say this, but not much of wealth is inherited, this world doesn't revolve around what happens in your life, kiddo.

  • I love how Larry says he needs to have them all back because "we've barely touched the surface..." then ends with, "...Michael Jackson's doctor"

Yes, on to the next important thing!

  • man FUCK YOU! I'm out, PEACE!

  • what a pathetic nation

the people of america don´t have money for healtcare .. ur owen goverment ur owen nazi regime is fucking u.

where is the taxpays money going???!!!!!

ISRAEL is getting all the money. Billions every year and don´t even talk about the weapon they steal from usa. hahahaha ur fucked.

  • Comment removed

  • Socialism will make you big and strong

  • Funny it sounds like Ron Paul spouts empty rhetoric a lot. SOCIALIZED MEDICINE! *sigh* Dr. Paul, there are 47 million Americans who are not afraid of that phrase... Just say "The problem is caused by the government, and then the government blames the free market. The free market is where doctors can cross state lines. The free market is where people are taxed less so they can buy what they want, such as health care. The free market is a simple solution for many of our problems."

  • I love how the neolibs can only bring up the ''47 million Americans don't have health care argument'' You realize that number is skewed, right? If you actually have done ANY research at all, you'd realize that 10 million of those are illegal immigrants, 17 million of those are switching between jobs in this economic downturn. and the 20 other million are just financially secure people that just don't want to pay for health care.

Idiots like yourself believe whatever the media says.

  • so those 17 million in between jobs all they got to do is stay 100% until they find new jobs right? and even if they do, what if they take a low wage job that doesnt offer healthcare? as most low wage jobs dont. and those 20 million others im willing to bet most are not "financially secure" more like 20somethings who feel invisible but still end up in the e.r because thats life. and when the bill comes your not gonna pay the 5,000

  • Hmm, my wife and I don't have health insurance but we're sure as hell financially secure. You realize that if you go to the emergency room and you can't make ends meet they'll work out something with you? I.E. $50 a month.

I just love how the neolibs are making this whole thing out as ''WE NEED HEALTH CARE NOW IT'S A CRISIS, PEOPLE ARE DYING LEFT AND RIGHT BECAUSE OH NOES THEY DON'T HAVE HEALTH INSURANCE!"

  • wow. you know what would be funny if you continue to be uninsured the public option gets shot down and you come down with a serious disease, boy would your face be red. but at least you'd have your backward right-wing principles.

  • Or, I can get a good education, get a well-paying job, and get insurance! Oh boy those left-wing principles sure seem to work for you!

  • I really hope you didn't just say that you treat the emergency room as your personal doctors office. You do know that it's called the Emergency Room for a reason right? Look if you don't want health coverage that's fine...you have that right but clogging up an emergence room because your tummy hurts is a completely self centered way of operating. Those doctors and nurses have more important/serious people to take care of.

  • What the hell are you talking about? When did I even say any of that? Lol.

  • Ron Paul needs to be running this country....but he is sooo smart most Americans don't understand.

  • lmao this amazon guy is hilarious. don't thumbs down this, HE IS FUNNY/UNIQUE

  • gupta is a charlatan

  • This is FREE care! So the med people are foregoing pay! Could they do so everyday? Ron Paul made the best point! People unimpaired by govt domination will care for the rest!

  • I don't think Larry understands a word.

  • Congress terms should be limited so our elected officials could not make a career of politics thereby removing much of the corruption that has been embedded for years.

  • Mawlijilo0 - You are becoming very generic with accusing people of not being able to type a coherent sentence, yet you are able to read well enough to spout your ignorance back at them. For somone calling people "Lazy Americans" you seem to have a lot of time to spout YOUR ignorance. Get a life

  • My God, I think you used the word ''spout'' enough. That sentence made absolutely no sense, 1972njr. Reading comprehension is not your best quality, kiddo.

  • Were backing off from Haiti and Zimbabwe to work in America..... thats a sad statement for our country

  • Truth is we can not afford nor do we have the resources presently for universal health care. The government spends more money than it takes in year after year and we will all pay for it down the line. We are getting to a point where countries are more reluctant to loan us money because they know we coming to a point where we can no longer repay them. Dr. Paul is right, if we cut financial waste on wars and aid outside of our country there would be more resources to care for our own citizens.

  • Considering you can hardly type a coherent sentence, I'm just going to assume you're an idiot. You realize why Ron Paul doesn't support the government is because they do stupid shit, often.

Ever see those absolutely ridiculous studies that say ''Men more attracted to women with bigger boobs!?" Yeah, that's research paid by the government, and they're literally spending millions of dollars on it.

Ever see a government run program? E.G.government paving a graveled roadside? Yea, It's terrible.

  • Well you have dealt with government run police and government run firemen. Its funny how people who complain about the government dont get involved in the government instead the come up with kooky ideas like a "free" market to do all the work for the, just pampered rich people and lazy dumb poor people who think Ayn Rand was a genius.

  • And government run police and government run firemen have worked great, righty? /sarcasm. Why is it that every day a video pops up of some police officer tazering a woman just because he wants to proof how much power he has and then he gets in no trouble whatsoever?

The 9/11 firemen should did a great job /sarcasm.

Yeah, government run stuff really does work, right? I'm going to assume you're just one of those dumb rednecks that hates rich pampered people because they actually work unlike you

  • American people don't vote for war after war. They vote for congress men and women who then go to D.C and take on an agenda of their own and turn their backs on their constituents. Most Americans are sick and tired of these wasteful wars but it's our elected officials who vote for them. I'd love to see how much has been spent on Korea, Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan. All wasteful and stupid wars. Trillions of dollars that should have stayed home.

  • WRONG .. Ron Paul is totally right/ What? those other 2 are right? HOW? Ron Paul OWNED them in this discussion and took them to school. You know damn well that any time govt gets involved it fucks things up. Did you know there used to be a time before the Civil War when states would prohibit the use of subsidies for roads and trains and shit lilike that? Yeah they did .. Because they knew GOVT will never do a better job than the free market. Same here. RP = RIGHT

  • I don't know how you stomach being marginalized every day Dr. Paul for following our constitution. I salute and thank you.

  • Dr Ron Paul, when we have a public option, maybe America won't have the option to waste so much money on unnecessary heinous wars....

Public option for health care could be the ultimate solution to America's appetite for wars...

  • I agree, lets end the wars but we'll still be on an unsustainable course with or without a public option. We barrow, print and spend too much; replacing one money pit with another will not help.

  • they just print the money .. remember? Out of THIN air! That or they just redistribute wealth which is STEALING.

Ron Paul makes total sense. ANyone who thinks OBAMA has ANY position on ANYTHING that trumps Dr Paul is fuckin not payin attention.

EVERYONE SHOULD LISTEN TO THIS GREAT MAN- RON PAUL

  • hey your a vinny who supports ron paul like me! Although, i think hes wrong on this issue, because he cant accept the fact that socialism and capitalism can intertwine and coexist in the same country.

  • The guy has an irrational paranoia of "socialism" lol.... where did he get brainwashed?

  • socialism cant coexist with capitalism? yeah i agree but only in united states LOL.

  • The private markets will not bring medical costs down. These private companies are the same people buying politicians to come down on things like marijuana that can help cancer patients because they won't make money off of it. God forbid they grow something in their backyard that'll help them instead of paying 50 bucks a pill. The goal in the private sector is profit, not responsibility to the consumer. The private sector could find a 5 dollar way to cure cancer and they'd never divulge it.

  • eh, public option maybe... what the hell was paul sung talking about? L-o-l. He seemed too... narrowminded maybe. I donno... Ron Paul said some things that will ring true with people whether it's cool to agree with him atm, idk. But the govt is usually a hindrance... History shows this. U just have to read an older history book, ironically... the victors write the history, people should remember that as well. Good luck to Ron Paul on his next bid for president. I think the media won't cover him.

  • Paul sung had a point of view ie public option, that doesn't make a person narrowminded. LOL, look into the mirror.

  • Look ISRAEL HAS NATIONAL HEALTH CARE. JAPAN HAS. AUSTRALIA HAS IT. YOU KNOW HOW MUCH A LUNG TRANSPLANT COSTS IN OZ? 6000USD. GOOD LUCK IF YOU WILL EVER HAVE CYSTIC FIBROSIS, YOU'LL PAY 250,000USD. I was charged by Kaiser 11,000USD just for the 4 hour stay at the ER alone. Good luck.

  • Ron Paul makes sense.

The problem is that you cannot trust the bureaucrats in private health insurance to make the right decisions for insuring patients.

Nor can you entirely trust the government.

But the government would not offer a public option to make a profit. And that is the goal of private insurance companies.

  • Ron Paul is oversimplying matters here.

Freedom of ppl is essential. However, when it comes to health care, this freedom is not threatened by the gov't, it's threatened by the health insurance corporation!

Tens of millions of Americans are being tied down because of the health insurance they pay for with unfairly low quality and very high cost. Gov't didn't have its hand in health insurance in the past.

  • the government is being used by medial monopolies to gain greater dominance in the market place.

if you had a small government and big free market medical system there would be no way monopolies could come about. except only if they provided the best possible health cover/care ect.

    competition brings prices down.

  • I wonder whether you mean there are medical monoplies currently running the health care system or there is a free market.

If former, I would like to know which medical monopolies are trying to use the gov't and why, because if these medical monoplies do exist, why would they want greater dominace when they are making so much profit status quo? (to kill old people?)

If latter, if you mean free market medical system = private companies competeing...well it's not working very well

  • And you are absolutely right...competition do bring prices down.

Because private companies weren't very good at bringing prices down through competition, this health care reform will create a competition that these private companies cannot ignore and will hopefully bring prices down

  • no. the government competition will wipe them out all together and you'll end up with a comunist medical system that is very inefficient and poor/corrupt. advances will stagnate alltogether. just as the oil cartels have taken control of the markets and benefit from zero competitive energy alternatives. we are forced to use oil because government now protects the oil cartels/monoply from competition. oil gets driven up in price and medicine will also if government gets involved.

  • What the health care reform bill proposes is to regulate the insurance companies and force them to provide a proper quality care for the americans, or else they are going to lose their clients.

And do not forget that what initially fueled this global recession were unregulated coporations who only chose profit over responsibility.

  • There is a difference between freedom and unregulation. The Gov't isn't trying to take away ppl's freedom through this bill. It is trying to create a buffer that will protect Americans and their right to decent health care.

  • meanwhile the gov taxes you heavily to bring this shit system into existance. taxes shrink the money pie of the people and the most powerful medial corporations with there lobbyist scam the money out of the government. creating disproportional medical corporate monopolies with unhelpful medical practices and medicines. ..

the government needs to stay out of private market affairs and do its job of just protecting the people from killing each other and being killed by foreigners.

  • The issue of how to pay for the reform is a big problem. But I still don't see how medical corporations are going use the gov't to monopolize completely and suck money out of the gov't. Give me some evidence so I can look at it (Btw there's nothing wrong with raising questions. I just wanna know where they come from).

One more thing...don't forget that the unregulation allowed for the rise in mortgage delinquencies which caused the recession. No gov't sometimes is the solution, but not always

  • mortgage delinquencies caused this? hhahahahahahahahahah.

Not the DOD loosing 2 trillion dollars? Not the fiat currency that is constantly debased by the Federal Reserve? Not the "fractional reserve banking" system ? Not the constant state of war this country has been in?

  • larry the great zionist jew in the sky wouldn't let the great patriot ron paul finish. typical. thanks sanjay, i'll hold indians in such a higher light now.

  • ant it the truth

  • Using cannabis as a medicine would save billions every year.

  • which is exactly why it's illegal. wonderful country we live in

  • if we didn't have so many illegal aliens in L.A. and around the country, we'd be able to give legal american citizens better healthcare or at least has less strain on hospitals and free clinics, shriners, etc.

    case closed

  • @ne0nsur

Thats not true it wasnt Until Bush started deporting illegal aliens, that the economy started its down fall. Most of the hospitals and free clinics exist because of the size of the of the population, and with the illegal aliens gone all the hospitals and free clinics will disappear. Just like the economy is doing right now.

  • bush deported illegals??? don't think so because he was pushing for the amnesty bill that mccain sponsored.

    nice try though

  • Ron Paul makes so much sense, he doesnt need to do sumersauts to make one lol

Hey, did yall see the Laraza attack?

    watch?v=mslFPmo5Owc

  • Dr. Paul is largely correct. The other two men are stuck within a paradigm that has been largely inefficient and ineffective. It seems to escape their comprehension that Ron Paul has such a simple solution that would provide the most reasonable amount of healthcare to as many people.

  • Ron Paul, touchdown!

  • Where is part three!

  • Why does Ron Paul always sound amazingly accurate and to the point, while other people that debate with him sound like idiots that spout empty rhetoric? Seriously, Ron Paul for president.

  • Well, he's been through it all before. Read my post on the first vid and read the book.

  • I love that. "Doctors can't practice across state lines."

Exactly the point Paul is making, the government interferes and blames it on the free market.

  • RON PAUL WAS RIGHT AGAIN!!

  • It time for a World of Change for Good and each other instead of all about the MONEY

  • Bud, I believe the World of Change for Good would come if the free exchange of "real honest money" was not hindered by government. Protection came from the constitution through fraud and contract laws enforced through the court. The founders knew that if government meddled in the peoples business they would create power and monopolies.

The Constitution = freedom to be compassionate

    Government = slavery through force

  • no more like Evil people don't work and more caring people working together Work! We didn't build this world by trying to destroy each other we built it on inovation of people that care to have a better way of life. Socialism won't do this unless you only have good honest people running it!

  • Ron Paul is to informed for this panel!

  • Ron Paul laughing at Dupe-Duh......classic. I would love to hear how this healthcare will be paid for and how people could trust a healthcare system that is ranked lower than 3rd world countries due to govt interference and waste.

  • Ron Paul has not been wrong yet.

  • The fact of the matter is that our medical system and educational system are uncontrolled monopolies while the working people in our system are very controlled. The greed of the incontrolled monopolies could destroy our system if left unchecked.

  • Gupta is amazingly unable to provide real insight into a subject.

  • These guys are just numb to their own arrogance.

  • More doctors means more hospitals means more coverage but less wages. So that won't happen.

  • Yeah, but those liberals would go nuts. That would be my satisfaction.

    Think about though......

Palin can continue to govern, get our troops home and honor all of them.

Paul can supervise the senate, audit the fed and end it. He can also balance or attempt to balance the budget.

It would be a good team.

  • Better yet, Ron Paul could do all the work and Palin can sit up front and just smile all day like an idiot. Yeah, quite a team, and would fit well with today's political atmosphere!

  • Sarah Palin and Ron Paul - 2012.....they can reverse the socialism of AmeriKa

  • I don't think Ron Paul would wanna work with someone so stupid

  • I like Ron Paul but I would never vote for a screeching retarded cunt like Palin.
