Webb Pierce knows how to sing a country tune. I'm still looking for his version of "I saw your face in the moon". Sure wish someone would post it. 5*****
Well I was thinking that Kitty sure did get drowned out with all of these other voices. I have always loved this old song and the musicians here sound great. Webb's distinctive voice is unforgettable and he had so many hits that I am just now finding here on YouTube. Maybe it would be appropriate to have Kitty's name taken off of this one here. Thank you for posting another good one by Webb. - Paula
Kitty Wells is NOT on this recording. It's a fine song by Webb Pierce solo, taken from his 1963 album Sands Of Gold. It was also the flip side of his hit single of that name, "Sands Of Gold", #7 in 1963. Webb and Kitty did record six duets. Those six are **"Finally", "He Made You For Me", **"Oh So Many Years", "Can You Find It In Your Heart", **"One Week Later", and "When I'm With You" . The "A" side (marked **) of all three of those singles were chart hits.
Can anybody post Webb Pierce's "Walkin' the Streets"?
