i use vellum paper. the hardest thing i made from that book ( Origami Insects 2 ) successfully was the tarantula and the mantis i made from that book is okay

@PlayGamePlayGamer shoot i did too and i got works of satoshi kamiya and some other origami books on my usb flash drive lol id say it's all worth about 3 to 400 bucks worth of origami books on that thing. no charge .

I've made this model. It's very difficult and more complex than his earlier samurai helmet beetle from origami insects1. With a bit of patience this model is quite possible though. You need a rather large sheet of paper for it and ideally quite thin.

@innotech yes, i know, but sadly I don´t have that much "perfect" origami-paper.

This video is old, i should make a new one with better paper, if I only would find the right paper....
