Okay,I noticed a key thing, the horse holds no respect for its rider, that does not mean that the horse doesn't love you but it does mean they know that they can take advantage of you, kicking and fighting the horse in the saddle will not solve the problem, it may for a second but you will see that disrespect sprout again
Suggestion: round pen (50-60ft), and let the horse know YOU control their feet & direction. to do this change directions frequently (Forward, backwards, left, and right)
Honestly you handled this stuff very well. And it's good that you just get right back on. I am a junior horse trainer and I get this stuff all the time, even with my experienced pony! But awesome job, keep up the good work, and cute horses!

yeasterday i fell of my horse and my friend fell of her horse and they ran away to the street but on of the workers closed the gates at the entrence and it took them at least 10:00 to catch my horse and my friends horse . my horse is named Rikki and my friends horse is named Gorge. i was more scared for the horses than my because i was fine but my horse was aming for the street:( but rikki and gorge are ok but i fell on the grass and i have grass stanse on my pants
yeah its really good to get right back on when you fall. I got thrown off so many times and I get right back on no matter how bad. And that is a good thing to do unless you are badly hurt. And if not, its good because you go back and do what you did wrong...I know a lot of people who dont do that :(
No offense if this offends you but, when you're near a jump always be ready do push yourself back when they jump because you never know of they're going to refuse. HEELS DOWN!

Falls happen to every rider good and bad. People don't realize just how hard horse back riding really is. Horses are not machines. They have minds of there own and they are bigger than us. Anyone who says horseback riding is easy, try it. Its a lot harder and trust me, its great excercise.
@emanubano Yea i agree. Horse back riding is the hardest sport i've played yet. I've never been more sore than when i have fallen off of horse. Or had a horse slam my knee into a ladder....i have two bad knees from that haha.
It might help if when you come up to the jump give him/her a big kick. That's what I do if I can tell the horse I'm on is going to be a little shit and refuse. ;)

No offence but it lloks like you arent even trying , here is some advice maybewhen u are about to go at a jump hit your horse on the ass with the whip or else try and lower your height and then go back up no crit

@MissKerryCampbell wrong lead, is when you are cantering, say your were going around on the right rein, the right inside leg should be leading :) if the left leg was leading is would be the wrong lead. canter + 3 beats, for the right rein, left hind leg,right hind+ left front then right lead :) if your riding itd easy to tell, if you look down at the shoulders, the leading leg is the one they are extending more :) x
@MissKerryCampbell its when your are cantering and are not on the right lead on the circle or corner, Some horses can correct by doing a leg change and others are brill and will not let it affect them
you have a lot of potential- you look pretty on him! you keep dropping him before the fence though- you can't put your hands down. He looks like a very smart horse who's going to make you an awesome rider, but you cant give up. Keep those hands up and don't let him be a jerk and test you! But all this will just make you so much better in the end. Trust me(: I've been there.;
Hi guys! I have a problem. My friend owns a pony and I'm breaking it for her. He was perfect. When my friend brought him into a riding school so I'd train him there, the owner said I wasn't good enough so she got one of her riders to ride him. Within three days the horse became agressive and violent. Nobody can get close to him... He's really good around me but now that my friend is on holidays the owner won't let me even come close to him and now he has started to bolt and buck... HELP!

you guys are aware that you dont need to whip horses or be agressive to teach them . i know that sometimes a horse deserves a slap if he is being bold but there are other ways to solve problems ..

My first time riding a horse i went for a trail ride, they put me on this crazy horse and he freaked out going up a hill and started galloping away with me still on his back, i took a nasty fall into a creek and the 4 year old horse stopped and waited for me to get up. I am now the proud owner of that 12 year old horse and love him to death. loved the video:)

i got kicked in the sholder blade by my little welsh pony, his name is Mi mi but hes a little 2"6 pony but used to be a cart pony! ya iv fallen off him at least 2 times in one month. I remberd he turned into the middle of the flat class and drooped his shoulder and i did a flip thing off. but then the day before the show he refused and i flped off into the oxer it hurt and he stood there like am i missing something?

U cant punish a horse for not wanting to jump, he refused because obviously the rider couldn't control him at that time. But u can punish him for bucking while ur on him. Just don't slap him , turn him in circles and yell.
Cool, the horse i ride dosn't do anythign like that but little bucks when i canter on her,,, :O but just last saturday i was picking her hoof and something spooked her and the kicked my leg, it hurt so bad i screamed and she was like "oohh, i hurt you?" but she is a doll, you have to forgive her ;p

@MissKerryCampbell wrong lead, is when you are cantering, say your were going around on the right rein, the right inside leg should be leading :) if the left leg was leading is would be the wrong lead. canter + 3 beats, for the right rein, left hind leg,right hind+ left front then right lead :) if your riding itd easy to tell, if you look down at the shoulders, the leading leg is the one they are extending more :) x

@MissKerryCampbell its when your are cantering and are not on the right lead on the circle or corner, Some horses can correct by doing a leg change and others are brill and will not let it affect them

you have a lot of potential- you look pretty on him! you keep dropping him before the fence though- you can't put your hands down. He looks like a very smart horse who's going to make you an awesome rider, but you cant give up. Keep those hands up and don't let him be a jerk and test you! But all this will just make you so much better in the end. Trust me(: I've been there.;

Hi guys! I have a problem. My friend owns a pony and I'm breaking it for her. He was perfect. When my friend brought him into a riding school so I'd train him there, the owner said I wasn't good enough so she got one of her riders to ride him. Within three days the horse became agressive and violent. Nobody can get close to him... He's really good around me but now that my friend is on holidays the owner won't let me even come close to him and now he has started to bolt and buck... HELP!

you guys are aware that you dont need to whip horses or be agressive to teach them . i know that sometimes a horse deserves a slap if he is being bold but there are other ways to solve problems ..

My first time riding a horse i went for a trail ride, they put me on this crazy horse and he freaked out going up a hill and started galloping away with me still on his back, i took a nasty fall into a creek and the 4 year old horse stopped and waited for me to get up. I am now the proud owner of that 12 year old horse and love him to death. loved the video:)

ohh geez, some of those falls looked pretty nasty. :( believe me, i have had my fair shared of falls, but i have learned from every single one of them! haha. dont you just love riding? its the getting back on that really tests your passion. haha and i am proud to say that i have gotten back on every time too :)

NO.. dont hit them.... if you wnat a horse to know what to do, either make him go over it froma standstill.. or make them sniff it.. but dont turn straight away.. otherwise they weill learn bad habbits

oh wow, iv been riding for about 4 years and iv only fallen off once, although i hav come close to it a couple more times. in a video i will put up soon, my horse didnt see the jump and she tripped and my neck flew backward and it hurt so bad!! that was two days ago and my neck still hurts!! lol.

i got kicked in the sholder blade by my little welsh pony, his name is Mi mi but hes a little 2"6 pony but used to be a cart pony! ya iv fallen off him at least 2 times in one month. I remberd he turned into the middle of the flat class and drooped his shoulder and i did a flip thing off. but then the day before the show he refused and i flped off into the oxer it hurt and he stood there like am i missing something?

U cant punish a horse for not wanting to jump, he refused because obviously the rider couldn't control him at that time. But u can punish him for bucking while ur on him. Just don't slap him , turn him in circles and yell.

Cool, the horse i ride dosn't do anythign like that but little bucks when i canter on her,,, :O but just last saturday i was picking her hoof and something spooked her and the kicked my leg, it hurt so bad i screamed and she was like "oohh, i hurt you?" but she is a doll, you have to forgive her ;p
