As an English major in graduate school, I'm quite offended that another English major was allowed to publish such terribly written books. She had great ideas, but if she is truly an English lit major, shouldn't her writing skills have been a bit more...mature?

Even if it is geared toward tweens, those tweens deserve properly written books.

I heard that Stephenie didn't want to write "New Moon" in Edwards POV b/c she didn't want to feel sad and depressed when writing it b/c it was obviously going to be a difficult time Edward. I understand that's hard, but I think it's harder on fans to write "Twilight" in Edwards POV and then stop. Of course we're going to want more and of course more about "New Moon." I *hope* she decides to continue the series in Edwards's POV & *maybe* the Twilight Series in Bella's, too. *HOPES*

I don't think she'll write another book in Bella's point of view to continue that story. I mean it says The End on the very last page. You can't really write anything after that and I don't want her to. though I agree with you in that she writes more in edwards point of view. ;)

Yeah. I kinda figured since it said that that it'd be the end, but I'd still enjoy the books from Bella's POV. I'm hoping she does end up publishing other books for Edward's POV besides "Midnight Sun." But I can't wait 'til it comes out. :)

Sad to say Stephenie said in a review she's only doing Twilight in Ed's POV. So us Twilighters can see the 'real' Edward. She has no interest to go further then that..-cry-

i think it's pathetic to write the same book in a different character's perspective...but that's just me. it sounds interesting for a fanfic or something but i'd never buy the same book just for a different character's perspective. she'd probably do jacob's pov in new moon.

Yeah but the characters are so diffrent. So to me it'd be like a totally new experience. Edward sees so much! And I admit the mind reading thing is going to be funny, hopefully we can see the thought that the vile mike newton has! :)

Midnight Sun will be very interesting. That's if she even releases it. SHE BETTER. Because we missed a lot with Bellas point of view. But I think it will be a lot of work for Steph to do it in Edwards pov she'll have to like put down everything that everyones thinking haha.

Actually, Midnight Sun is after Breaking Dawn. Edward is narrating it from Bella's first day, so it's like Twilight only told by Edward. I read the first chapter. It rox! I read part of Breaking Dawn too.
