  • "Whatever business people do, this will do it very well" What a fckin douche.

  • That's true..they are easy to open & service. Dell is a pain in the butt. I remember trying to pull out a hard drive one time, what a hassle. I guess they want you to take it to the dell service center and spend a lot of money.

  • He was almost funny today. =)

  • E8500 and DDR3 4GB just purely for business, it is a scam.

  • quad = four

so presumably a 4 card crossfire x setup.

  • DDR3 ????

  • is a quad ati 5870 see on trubitar

  • i am not stressed :D, so suck my tralala

  • XBOX 360 Heatsink ...

    Amen

  • lol.. lukss ok.. but not for me. for sure.. but a nice compact 1..

  • still hook up to that laser jet printe from 1993 that just doesnt ever die xDxD haha

  • that mobo looks bass ackwords to me

  • Good comp but i rather make one myself its way better :)

  • 320 watt power supply

  • 1.21 Jiggawatts!

  • if i had that pc at a work place if i had a job id put in my own new psu and a gts 250 and then i would be able to play some games when the boss aint around or the manager aint looking over his back then its all the way to the sweet stuff...

  • Seems overkill for an office machine.

  • good cpu, but i agree its not worth more than maybe $500

  • RAM is great, but WAY overkill

  • like the new intro but still not the "reviews" which technically there not but yeah

  • god they're called DIMM slots you moron! NOT SIMM!!! SIMM WAS OBSOLETE YEARS AGO RETARD

  • lol my sis still uses Intels proprietery RIMM memory... lol the computer is like 8 years old but still has XP.

  • amen

  • So were parallel ports but this computer still has them.

  • Waaa display port!!!

  • DDR2 is more expensive then DDR3 now, by the way you god damned noobs.

  • Not true, especially when you factor in the cost for a board that supports it.

  • I love the both xp and windows 7 dvd

It's too bad it's a pain to upgrade from xp though.

  • it's like a computer from great britain,,the mobo it's in the opposite side that it should be..

  • lol way to overkill xD better HDD and a better GPU and its a gmer lol..

  • my school has E8400's with 2 gigs of DDR2 800 and GMA 3100...

  • Same lol

  • @ 2:58 "why pay for stuff you don't need?" You mean like $800 for 4GB DDR3 (WTF, too much memory and Ghz for almost ANY workplace) and a 3.16 Ghz Dual-core. What is HP thinking?!?!?

Not only is that WAY over kill, but I could EASILY build the same comp for 'bout half the cost.

    ~$100 for ram

    >$100 for a CPU

    ~$50 for a HDD

    ~$50 for a MOBO

    >$50 for a PSU

    ~$50 for a case

The ram is the most expensive piece of hardware in that PC and they could have easily gotten away with 2GB of DDR2 for ~$20.

  • 50 mobo?! 100 RAM wtf are you insane?

cpu 100 ok but it's mostly for a good one 170 dude i've you make that pc you are insane

  • Dude, I payed ~$70 bucks for my OCZ reaper 2x2gb ddr3 stock @ 1333mhz OC'ed to 1800mhz.

I think you are the one you is insane for paying anything more than that.

As for the MOBO, you can easily get a board for ~$50, infact there are pages of them on newegg. some are even ddr3.

Now for the cpu, one that will suffice (in the build in question) would cost about $100, which would get you a dual-core @ at least 2.4ghz.

  • As for my build:

    CPU - q9550 @3.83Ghz, $350

    MOBO - eVGA 790i ultra SLI, $200

    GPU - 2x XFX 9600gso, ~$60 each

    RAM- 4gb ddr3 @1800mhz, $70

    HDD(main)- 2x 500gb WD Caviler Black's, $100

    PSU- 1000w, $100

    Case- full tower, $100

  • if u go amd.... u can get a 100 dollar cpu that is 3.1ghz dual core... just to let you know...

  • Or I could not cheap out on a CPU and get the 3.83ghz quad core with 12mb l2 and room to clock higher. I'm fully aware of AMD's CPU's and price points, I just don't give a fuck.

  • I haven't watched these vids in 3 months, I figured they would have fired this asshat by now. Oh well.. i'll be back in another 3 or 4 months to see if hes gone.

  • This guy is horrible at doing reviews

  • not bad but i could build one with the same specs for probably like $100 less and that could include a pretty good gpu like a 4850

  • $800 comp and thats all you get? Glad i know how to build my own. Why does an office PC need a 3.1Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo processor?

And no windows 7? Not even basic? Fail!

  • It comes with Windows 7 Upgrade.

  • Oh your right it does, but it still is not worth $800

  • its worth $800 to people who prefer OEMs. $800 is totally reasonable for that pc. (Although I question the high specs for an office computer)

  • waaay too much for simple spreadsheets -_-

I'd pop in a $200 gfx card and that's all I need for superb gaming

  • I probably got spreadsheets that would just kill this thing much less load a game.

  • Good thing they chose the C2D over the Pentium Dual Core. Those things are shit!

  • Actually next to U you got Pa, or Np.

What's with all the science reference today.

  • enough gigahertz to travel back in time

    hahhahahahahahaha

  • Sexcii :)

  • Why would you need such a powerful CPU and 4GB DDR3 if its designed for office work?

  • To play games in his office while working : )

  • on my dad's work they have 1.6GHz single thread atoms they are perfect for wut they do there

  • pretty good spec , all it need is a graphic card and a new case

  • that's what lightscribe is? awesome.

  • Nice :)

  • what do they think people will do with this

  • awesine :O
