  • As a Dutch guy I appreciate the sentiment but I'm pretty sure this was because the French were either gone or dead before he even got there.

  • Check this old cunt out He liked to Bugger little boys the filthy faggot

  • Thanks Guarnere for you thankful words! As i may speak for all the Dutch/ Hollanders, thank you!

  • WILD BILL!!! <3

  • What an Ugly Cunt this is

  • @yogifalkmybitch fuck off

  • @DenKulesteSomFins Fuck Off Paska Boy

  • @yogifalkmybitch I didn't even know what the fuck "paska" was until now, and i will assure you, I have never eaten paska, and I am not eastern european... Now you should pay respect for the person that lost his leg for your freedom.

Unless you are a troll. If so, you have only lost my respect

  • @yogifalkmybitch Just like you.

  • i'm sorry, was he saying that when he jumped in France he didn't see the French fighting with our guys, while in Holland he did see the Dutch fighting with our guys?

  • @bxnyfordham i think he meant that he didn't see the same appreciation from the french as he did from the dutch.

  • I wish they would do one from the German and Russian perpective. And The rest of the European countries. All films portray the same countries over and over again, we have to remember who else took part in what is the most epic and horrific story in modern day history.

  • what an awesome guy...at the end of brothers he says "sometimes it makes me cry" when he would think about the war and it was so honest and moving

  • Just got done reading Bill and Babe's book and let me just say that these men and those that served right along with them were brave men who served their country proudly.

  • french are pussys guys like this dont lie.

  • @yogifalkmybitch

Piece of shit...hope you die unhappy and with pain...

What happend to you in life to be such a dick ? Did your mom didnt gave u a hug?

Sgt. Guarnere is a hero, we should NOT forget...without him the E-Company would be just a normal company, God bless him

  • @MyoCephycX He's been trolling on so many videos to do with Band of Brothers and E Company. I hope he dies..

  • @berserker276 Screw you! He's a hero!

  • @MrALEJANDRO13579 I'm not talking about Guarnere you idiot. Read the whole conversation. Some prick said something like "this toothless bastard lost his leg in a car accident", some shit like that.

  • @berserker276 Sorry about that, I didn't read the whole conversation.

  • @MrALEJANDRO13579 It's ok. Look at his channel and see how much hate he gets. He goes around trolling on like every video dedicated to E Company and Maj. Winters, he's an asshole.

  • This old twat lost his leg in a car accident

  • @yogifalkmybitch The car accident as you like to say was called "Battle of the Bulge". It was a last big push that the germans had to try and keep allied forces out of Germany. Bill lost his leg in January of 1945 while helping his buddy Joe Toye who also lost his leg but had other wounds on top of that. Its guys like him and those who are serving today that help to keep us safe and to keep us free.

  • @glorysun84 This Toothless old Twat was a coward he lost his Bottle in battle the leg in a car accident

  • @yogifalkmybitchOne of my pet peeves as a military brat is when someone disrespects those who have served. This man here was brave and served his country when they needed him and others the most so really how is that being a coward. This was during a time when we had a draft. You really need to get your facts straight before spouting things you have no clue about.

  • @glorysun84 What a load of Bollocks You Soapy Cunt

  • @yogifalkmybitch i hope you suffer a deliberating brain aneurysm you freak.

  • @1TheAmerican1 Cheers Numb nuts Chicken shit Americans i hate them All mouth and no Bollocks

  • @1TheAmerican1 Knock 3 times and turn once

  • @glorysun84 I bet you didnt know any of that till you watched band of brothers.

you probably thing 101s airborne won the whole damn war.

yes they were good soldiers but dont be brainwashed by yanky tv shows that glorify war.

  • @MAKER6450 Your wrong on that part because I do know that it wasn't just the 101st who won the war but it took everyone from all branches who served and fought to win the war. I had an uncle who was a medic in Normandy and he wasn't in the special forces and then I lost at least 1 relative on Iwo Jima. When it comes to stuff on the tv about our wars I don't pick the glorify stuff mainly because when your taught about that stuff in school it is glorified. I only wish that my grandpa told..cont.

  • @glorysun84 america took thier time.

we were fighting our arses off for over 2 years and you guys just gave us old ww1 weapons as support.

Dont get me wrong, you guys helped big time when you finaly jumped in...but the war would of ended alot faster if you helped from day 1.

It should never of got so out of control....we should of stomped germany as soon as they made thier move.

  • Comment removed

  • @Nicohle america knew nothing about war?

so you didnt learn anything from the Civil War or WW1?

  • @MAKER6450 me of his experiences in serving in the Air Force special forces during Vietnam but he hardly told anyone. I wish that I could talk to my uncle about being a medic during the Normandy invasion but I won't ever have that chance either because he died when I was a toddler. So needles to say I'm a very proud military brat and as of right now I have 2 cousin's in Afghanistan.

  • @glorysun84 ww2 was one of the reasons you guys went to vietnam....well, kind of.

You seen how germany got stronger as they took each country.

If we let the communist take over vietnam straight away, it would of gave them the confidence to continue attacking more of asia.

The domino effect....australia was in the path so thats why we helped you guys out.

  • @glorysun84

Thank the 12 million fallen Soviet Troops for destroying 85% of the whole German army.

  • the actor in BoB sounds like him

  • Look at this old fool i think he believes his own lies He has a face like a slapped arse

  • @yogifalkmybitch shut you irish spit

  • @yogifalkmybitch I can pretty much tell that you don't know your history. That man fought for this country during WW2 and when they jumped into Holland that country had been under German occupation for at least 4 years. The U.S. and other allies helped to liberate Holland. Also that man went through hell during the Battle of the Bulge and ended up losing a leg. So how about showing some respect to a guy who helped to keep this country free.

  • @glorysun84 YAWN

  • @ruffneckdawg My pleasure. If you have any question, don't hesitate !

  • @ruffneckdawg Just telling you about "resisting". They didn't resist. Like the french, belgians, etc. You can find resistance fighters everywhere as soon as the country is liberated... Like mushrooms after the rain.

  • @CalleyLT Ha yo do tough man, were you there???? Did you live to through the war??? fucking cunt.. You'd be f pissing your pants thats right. My grandfather was in the belgian RESISTANCE. I have nothing but respect for those american soldiers, but you are just a cunt.

  • @ruffneckdawg The dutch was resisting LOL. It's not about resistance by the way...If it was not for us, they would be speaking fucking german as any other country in Europe. Resistance, my ass. Yougoslavia had a resistance. The others, BS. Cut the crap.

  • We, Canadians, fought in Holland. And WTF...he's a hero. But he's got a selective memory or totally misses the point. He was in normandy on june 5th and 6th. Most of the cities had been destroyed after allied bombings and ground assaults...and he expected people to give him apples ? The guy is too old to recall...People were hidding in their cellars or were obviously dead. In Eindhoven or even Paris, the situation was different and people could give a warm welcome to the troops.

  • @TheWilliamBurroughs Not true, the French are just assholes,They hated us then and they hate us now

  • @FightWorldGovernment dude i wish i knew who u were id slap the shit out of you

  • @theerwinrommel1891 Try it,Assault me and I have the 2nd amendment :-)

  • @TheWilliamBurroughs Not true, i'm from Eindhoven and I can assure you that's not true.

  • Comment removed

  • Awww....I ADORE Wild Bill!!! What a hero and an inspiration this guy is!!! Rock on, Bill!!!!

  • Telling it like it is!

  • Im dutch 2 and want to thank the americans of keeping us out off the "f"ing german hands back in the days.

Respect for this men and the rest of easy company.

  • "Im throwing apples to the god damn Germans", LMFAO!!!!!!!!!

  • my biggest salute ever

  • What a character - brilliant. Total admiration.

  • The fucking French fought us harder than the Germans. Those frogs should still be goose steppin We should of gave the Nazis france after the war. No loss

  • thank you americans for saving my country

  • @MrJuliusrapper

i can't do anything else than agree with you

  • The Men Of Easy Company, 506 Div. 101st Airborne May Not Refer To Themselves As Hero's But Simply Regular Folks Doing What They Believed Was The Right Thing, Answering The Call In Their Country's Hour Of Need And Simply Doing Their Job. I Couldn't Agree More... They Don't Need To Say It, For Their Actions Speak Louder Than Any Voice, Any Word Could Ever Begin To Express.

  • wow the guy in the movie did a great job with his voice and everything

  • maybe he is pissed because some French tankers got to the Eagles Nest before he did lol

  • HAahaha, indeed totally true. I don't like the americans like Bush but I sure still love this man =P

  • what a great guy good sense of humour

  • Amazing men.

  • most hardcore motherfucker this planet will ever meet

  • lol this guy is awesome

  • Its funny, as much as this war split people apart, it brought just as many together.

    Wonderful dichotomy .

  • haha love the way Mr. Guarnere dislikes the french.

  • The apples were definitely a sign of great respect and gratefullness. After all, the Dutch people just went through something we call ´´de hongerwinter´´, winter of famine. Thousands starved to death.

  • There is no greater love, then that of a MAN, who puts his life on the line for a comrade in arms.

Bill Guarnere is true hero. I Salute you!!

  • I'm proud on my Dutch blood right now:)

all the respect for the men who gave their live for my freedom! just as much for the men that fought and survived.

btw: I don't like the french either

  • This guy is exactly like he was portrayed in the show. Great casting overall.

Cool how he likes the Dutch and not the French. Why does that not surprise me.

The Americans and Brits saved Europe, but apart from the Dutch (and Brits who know the Americans saved them as well), the rest of Europe seems to have selective memory.

They should be eternally grateful for what these soldiers did for their freedom. The French act like they owe these guys nothing, and they are SO wrong.

  • @TheMiseryGuts The dutch in general and even the youngest generation are well aware of the war and what the allies had to sacrifice to regain our freedom.

From School children attending to war Graves and memorials.

Every year we honor those men

  • @Raafje84 Raafje84: that is great to hear. Seems the Dutch honor those who saved the country more than the US citizens do, which is disgusting. I live next to Camp Pendleton and always talk to the Marines and often buy them breakfast (on my way out the door - I don't do it for the thanks).

But, I have had more than one group run out and chase me down to thank me and my family. When I ask, it seems what I do is a rarity, which I will never get.

Thank you for remembering. The Dutch are great people

  • @Raafje84 ...and I hope you guys win the WC tomorrow!!! Go Orange!

  • @TheMiseryGuts he dislikes the French because when they were liberated they still didn't come out and help or appreciate it. The Dutch bent over backwards to help the Allies....it was like 2 different worlds to them.

  • @jtoatoktoe Thats because the french are a bunch of useless pussies that would rather have some else do thier fighting for them, then treat those people that did fight for them with disrespect.

  • Thank You Easy Company you are all my heros. RIP To All Who NEVER made it home. AND RIP to all who survived to tell their stories and passed away in recent years. AND lastly stay safe those still living and telling their stories

GOD BLESS EASY COMPANY YOU WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN

  • My history teacher had an opportunity to meet those guys and go to a trip in Europe with them..

  • That is true about the Dutch really helping out. On the Holland jump, my dad said there were a group of Germans who shot at him all the way down. He never did say how he got away from them, but I'm sure it wasn't pretty. He and a couple of his fellow paratroopers had a Dutch family hide them in their barn under some haystacks. They were clearly outnumbered and when the Germans came through looking for them, they did not detect them when they looked in the barn. Band of brothers all the way.

  • Bill is the best guy on the show

  • Thank you I am duth

it means allot the poeple at thant time were starvin

And they gave every thing they had!!

    Easy company for life!!!!!!

  • As a German I am proud of them all, no matter who. Currahee

  • lol WO2 veterans have such a good sence for humer lol

  • Bill would kick superman ass.

  • Wow, it's like I'm watching the actor who played him 50 years in the future.

  • yah, he looks like him... lower lip infront of the upper lip lol.

    RESPECT!

  • The Actor who played him in Band of Brothers did a very good job of capturing his personality :)

  • @thomo1888 He even had the same face.

  • the guy who played him in band of brothers got the accent spot on. he even looks a bit like him!!

  • the gangsters in the hood think they're so badass but this guy is the most badass guy ever throwing apples at germans haha!

  • These guys r true heros! All the little fuckers today could do with a few years in the army to teach them some respect!

  • He loves to talk and you know what; he's earned the right to gab our ears off!!!

  • Bill !! Coolest guy on earth ! Respect !

  • Real hero, no matter what anyone thinks of the war, these men were given a job and they did what they had to do.

And Frank John Hughes did a damn good job playing him.

  • The guy who played him in Band of Brothers did a damn good job on getting his Philly accent.

  • An apple HA!

  • babe and toye - his best friends

    deamn,they r true heroes....living history.

    not superman,not batman,but they r true heroes.

    amin

  • love in the Secound Episode when he yells to Malarky FORGOT U Freaking Luger u Mick want me to go get it for ya?!

  • his best friend was Joe Toy

  • germans blow his leg and wild bill 2 :(

  • Babe heffron was

  • @Kunniva523 did toye survive? He lost his leg thats all i know

  • the only thing on c span worth watching

  • So much has never been owed to so few.....generations will be ertanlly indebted to those brave men and woman, that lived and died so we can enjoy our freedom and way of life.

  • 人稱 老淋病先生

    哈~~

  • well its true

im dutch and i very like americans

whitout tthe americans i would speak fucking german instead of dutch

  • @littlemontanaa

    whitout america we talked russian.

russian crushed like 3/4 of the army on nazi-germany

america, poland, brithish only have to break normandy, they did.

then the come @ bastonge, that was the last big offensive.

also, i like americans and i am dutch.

  • @littlemontanaa You know,It feels good seeing someone from another country actually saying something positive about American troops.I really appreciate your comment.Thank you.

  • @littlemontanaa I agree I can't say anything bad about the Americans but remember, they were not there alone there was other allied soldiers there too. Big respect to all allied soldiers who had to fight against the Germans.

  • @littlemontanaa Don't forget the brave Englishmen that died stopping that too.

  • @littlemontanaa

however, the Red Army liberated Denmark, and 8 out of 10 German divisions were destroyed by the Red Army

  • @littlemontanaa Hey, the Dutch resistance was badass too

  • @darthgrahf everyone who fought in the war were badass's....but not all of them have a damn tv show made about them.

  • @littlemontanaa Americans are so under-rated after stories about Bush... That sucks because they deserves respect.

  • Nothing but RESPECT for this amazing man! God bless you, Bill Guarnere!

  • @SHELBYxGTx500 So true. I think Frank John Hughes captured the essence of Bill very well in the series.

  • @SHELBYxGTx500 I think he's the funniest member of the Band of Brothers....but i agree with ya respect to all the Band of Brothrs members alive or dead...hell respect to all the fallen who fought for freedom and honor

  • What a legend!!! :D

  • hehe, the french didn't get top grade exactly.

  • Grande Gonorrea

  • stephanhl watch it not all germans are nazis

  • Comment removed

  • @ BenDippold, Where do i say that???

  • yes they are!

  • guarnere is awesome

  • Propaganda the Reich will raise, I see the eagle raising!!!!

    mmm Think about it!!!

  • Respect, old fella.

  • I love their biography. These men are one of the reason I enlisted and wanted to become a paratrooper. HOOOAH

  • First of all... im dutch and i wanne thank all the veterans for saving my country and the world!!! without your people (Allies) were now speaking fucking german!!!...

  • WILD BILL !

  • by the way, America? In my opinion, we're the overall best. we're not perfect but we're the best. there's no other place I'd rather be.

  • its a very, very bold statement.... and it is far, far from the truth...

  • I never said we were perfect. but it's better to live in the US than any other place. where do you live? and where would you rather be then if not the US?

  • i hope that you are kiddin me. otherwise ask yourself if you were awake in your geography lessons...if you in the usa have any at all.

  • Actually I was born and raised in the Us; lived here all my life, and all I think about is leaving.

  • It's fine if you want to leave the US. You have the freedom to. It's kind of like how rich people decide to give up their wealth. It's not in their taste. Or people give up the city life because it's too hectic for them or they move to the city because they're bored by the country or suburbs. It's all your own opinion. Doesn't make you bad or good. It's just how you feel.

  • We wont keep you here, please go !

  • Why would you want to live in the USA? So much to do there compared to the UK (excluding california)

  • isnt it Ssgt he retired?

  • Guarnere and Luz are awesome even though Luz is dead, I love him.

  • get the god damn apple ,throw it at the germans. lol

  • I am from Holland!

  • I'm from Holland, and i like it that Bill Guarnere like's the Dutch people.

  • only the real dutch people deltasnipper

  • im dutch

  • i'm not from holland, but i'm dutch thru me grandmother. i like hearing stories about how the american/allied troops were received by the nations we liberated. i am french thru my mother, i like how guarnere isn't shy about expressing his opinion about the (ungrateful) french.

  • Oow okay,

  • @alitlweird: the Americans - apart from the southern most tiny tip - did NOT liberate the Netherlands; the English, Canadians and Poles did.

  • this guy right here is the reason im joining the army. he is such a good rolemodel

  • Lol, I love his brooklyn accent even though he's from pennsylvania.

  • He ain't just from Pennsylvania. He is from South Phily!!! 17th street. I lived on 19th and shunk for many years. "Wild Bill" Guarnere is a true hero!

  • Its all over the Tube...!

  • Frank John Hughes potrayed him excellently in BOB. Especially with the accent. He talks exactly like him.

  • Great guy, I would love to meet him!

  • Shifty Powers died last week. GOD bless you Shifty !!!!! Thank you for what you did for the world !!! Angels in Heaven will welcome you, as all your friends will too.

  • oh shit are you serious?! Shifty was an amazing guy. how did you find out?

  • this made me laugh so hard, i would love to meet these men in real life

  • this what you call the true american paratrooper. one of the most bad ass soldiers to ever live

  • This dude is fucking hardcore to the end man! They don't make them like him anymore.

  • Guarnere is so awesome! ROFL

  • LOVE HIS ACCENT

  • Phily Baby haah

  • I FUCKING LOVE HIM! HE WAS SO SEXY IN THE MOVIE.

    THAT'S MY FUCKING BABY!

lol, he still got his little accent(:

  • Wow, I'm feeling proud being Dutch now :D

  • "I thought they were grenades"

He must have helped keep the spirits up of his fellow soldiers many times. Funny guy.

I wonder if he ever went back to visit Lulu's place. ;)

  • lol good ole Wild Bill....'I chucked the apple at the Germans' good stuff good stuff
