He's histrionic, no doubt, but not in a way that's maladaptive, so I wouldn't say "disorder". He's actually a stereotypical caricature that wouldn't exist in the real world. In his fictional world, different behaviors are acceptable, and a normal real-world person may very well be considered to have a disorder that real life doesn't have a name for.

Michael Jackson, on the other hand, could have HPD. He's real, he behaved sort of like Austin, and it caused trouble for him.
