xxGODxOFxWAR its prob around 50 to 75 hours. Anything is longer than MW2 Christ you can beat that game in a day. If you have played the other Deus Ex they are long as hell

How long is this game on normal difficulty if you do alot of exploring, and do all the side quests? Is it closer to MW2 where it is 3 hrs long or is it more like Fallout 3 where you can get 100+ hrs out of it? Really appreciate any info cause i want to get this but im concerned about the value cause im on a tight budget. Thanks youtube and great game:)

@artcc4 first of all, cmon show some respect. You dont have to say shit. Second this was played with a mouse. Thats because the cameras highly sensitive and responsive to the player. Console controllers dont do that no matter how high the sensitivity is. Third, I agree PC is better for these games. But not everyone can afford buying expensive desktops and having to upgrade them for every great game that comes out. So consoles have made it more fun cause now everyone can play these games.

@artcc4 you can plug Xbox260 and PS3 controllers into the PC for alot of games, i play crysis warhead and crysis 2 with a Xbox controller, i prefer it and maybe this guy likes to play his game with a controller to, its his choice not yours so don't tell him how to play his game.

Definitely must have set the standard for how games should be. Theres other similar(ish) games I've played like the Thief series, its a GREAT set of games, but there a little more linear than DX. Also there's a REALLY rare game called Omikron which I really enjoyed, and its set in a variety of different "sand box" free roaming cities, and other non-urban places. It was the first game where you can "assimilate" ANYBODY, (similar to prototype) but every1 has different abilities!

Another interesting one is Call of Cthulhu (I cant remember the sub-title of it). But in its most basic element its an FPS, but once you see it, you realise its SO much more. Its an adventure based 1st person action adventure with an emphasis on ADVENTURE, figuring things out, following a great story, meeting STRANGE people and trying to figure out what the HELL is wrong with this small isolated fishing village that looks creepy even on a sunny day.

I cant stress more that you NEED to clock this game man! The ending isn't amazing (well theres actually 3 endings, but I only completed it once), but once everything is complete, you really get a sense of "wow, just..wow". But then again you probably felt the same way throughout most of the game, I know I did LOL!

Do you know any other games like this, apart those I mentioned, and both Vampire The Masquerade games? I dont care about the genre, or if its FPS or 3rd person, I just want DEPTH!!

@ncshuriken I think what you mentioned is all I can think of along the lines of great story and gameplay. Personally, I like Cryostasis. I think the way the story is told is great, but I've never managed to finish. It's rather linear, but still pretty fun and interesting.
