  • me and my friend got to go there for anothter horse show and we went and played around on the coarse and that 3rd jump is WAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYY bigger than it looks!!!!!!!!!!!! it is HUMONGOOOO!

  • @987horsecrazy you did not jump that jump... you could have gotten in HUGE trouble, both with your horse and with the TD's and security at the park

  • @StormValleyStables no we did not jump it on our horse! we never brought our horses over there. but they were letting people walk around and look at the jumps...

  • @987horsecrazy ohhh, well in eventing saying "played around on" usually meaned jump or school something

  • @StormValleyStables yeah i know hahaha i just got really excited! lol

  • saai hoor!!

  • Amazing, My Dreamm...

I Wish I Could Ride Like That.

Tis My Dreamm To Be In The Olympics For Three Day Eventing, But I've Always Favored Cross Countryyy.

  • ah and my trainers at 5:49 :)

  • aw ralph and billy :(

  • the horse 3:45 was tired

  • ....referring to xoblondie3 there....

  • the grey is Leslie Law on Shear L'eau.

  • 1.28 is a gorjus grey!

  • great video!

hopefully ill be doing rolex with my young horse eventually

  • good luck!!

  • wow are you an idiot?

  • cause you just compete and win at this level right?

if you haven't done it, don't judge it!

  • you have to look at "Bluegrass eventing super league" in Ireland its excellant, this is a ONE DAY EVENT AT Tyrella Beach

  • yea, you go advanced right? eventing is the hardest sport on the planet. we train every day and have to keep our horses in top conditions and after sickness we have to rehablitate them and it can take months. sport horses can take only one day off.

  • Hey, great footage!! Do you mind if I use a few clips for a video I'm making?

  • Yes, you may use any part of the video. Last year, 2007, I shot still pictures. I am debating if I should video or shoot still pictures at 2008 Rolex K3DE.

  • do a video!

  • I would do a combination... for more famous riders or horses that have been refusing would make for interesting videoo, and then you could take pictures of the ones more likely to looknice over the jumps :)

  • That sounds good.

  • oh! thats interesting...

  • omg im so stupid.

  • no, ur not. it is actually Crisco grease. Some riders think it helps the horse "slide" over the obstical.

  • there is actually a kind of grease specifically made for eventing. so i would imagine its actually not crisco.

  • yea, it's just eventing greese. u only need it at advanced.

  • mm not necessarily... i use it at novice cause my horse is lazy and sometimes drags his legs..

  • well that is a special condition. I'm talking regualr riders, on regualr event horses who are used to going around the course and picking themsevles up

  • what? you think my horse is shit cause he is brave and doesnt pick his feet up?! you got another thing coming honey.

  • well that is a sign that he is not as brave as some other horses, but I never pointed out your horse specifically, now did I?

  • its not a sign that he is not brave he could just do with being more carefull

  • yes, he isn't confedent in himself or his rider and he is dragging his legs

  • Comment removed

  • oh wow! i relly like the horse with the spots on its legs... very interesting color!

  • Thats sweat hun.

  • y would u think it was sweat?

  • it's ok, it's not sweat either. they rub it on the horses legs to protect them from rubbing them on the fences. it is grease.

  • I love this video!!

  • Great footage =)

  • gosh.....what a nice audience!

    they were really supportive...you know?

  • FAB VIDEO! :)

  • Wow #57 looked really young

  • It was hard to read the numbers, but I think you're talking about Jessica Heidemann and her chestnut gelding, French Twist. She's pretty young, but I think she's a fantastic rider and I really look up to her.

  • did you mean the rider at 3.10?

Was it that Emily Anchor and Balmoral Cavelier?

  • hahaahahahhah wow...dont i feel stupid... hehehe 0:) i would never have guessed it was grease. but wouldnt it be cool to have a horse that actually looked like that 8)

  • Nah, he had to get put down, that was about 3 years ago... he was a solid horse with fine legs so they gave way, but now im still competeing with a Clydie x ISH so he is great for it, lovely strong legs =)

  • My horse broken both of its front legs competeing at A grade cross country. =(, i love it though... although it is dangerous and extermly damanding on the horse and rider.

  • Aww :( Is ur horse ok? Yeah! I love XC too but it can be dangerous :( xx

  • that's my dream... to compete at the rolex. i only need different parents

  • i feel you. i'm the exact same way

  • basicaly whatevery one else said,

but its also like an anti biotic in case they do get and scratches

  • Why do they have grease all up their legs. sorry for the silly question but i dont know much about jumping

  • Better chance of clearing fences without sustaining scratches I would imagine.

  • It's to help them "slide" over fences more. That way if they get into a tight spot it should help them slip a bit more, rather than scratch their legs. I think there is another reason for it as well - but I can't remember!

  • whats the name of the horse w/ the really odd coloring and the white on the fronts of his legs and bay all over the rest?

  • There are a few different horses like that, and the white on their legs is actually grease, not a marking ^.^

  • Super footage, thanks for sharing!

  • i took pictures of rolex and made a video... come look!

and please comment... ill have a website with the photos up soon

  • aw ralph hill =[

  • awesome video! thanks for posting this on youtube!

  • who is this? i was there, can anybody give me the video of the fall at the creek oxer? or what happened at least, nobody could tell me, i just saw them fixing it

  • This video appears to be from the 2006 Rolex. The fall at the creek oxer this year was Tiana Coudray. I believe King Street took off long and landed in the middle of it. Both of them were fine, but eliminated.

  • You are correct. 2006. Don't know why I waited so long to post this video. Although I did not know about YouTube until 6 months ago.

We heard about the problem at the Creek Oxer, but was about as far away as one could get away from the jump & still be on the course.

  • thanx, i just realized this vid was from last year, haha

  • THANKS! Just like being there, did you go this year? I hope so!

  • Yes, my wife & I went this (2007) year. The construction was bad around the horse park & we spent an hour going from I-75 where you could not see the entrance ramp, to parking the car. Missed 6 or 7 horses. This year I took my digital camera; so no video. I will try to post the photos in some kind of video like HunterJumperGirl101 did.

  • Great!

  • this is awsome we need more videos like thanks!

  • Thank you! I did not think that hardly anyone would see it besides friends & family (1 friend, 3 family). (This is my 1st comment, hope I do OK)

  • amazing

  • talk about making it look easy..

  • i know right
